  • Welcome back Monna and well done on your diplomacy.
We have the dreaded appraisals coming soon at work, I'm past caring, lol.
The final piece of paperwork arrived today for our financial shenanigans hopefully it will all be sorted soon, it should have taken 2 weeks and has taken 4 months!
Elona I used a lot of the Shirley Goode recipes when my children were small, especially the fryingpan pizza.

Welcome back Sheila. How are all your chickens?

I don't think I could lose that much weight I would then weigh about the same as my three year old DGS.

Hi Sheila, good to see you, you're going to have to share your weight loss tips, it's quite an achievement.

Thanks for the recipe Elona, I forget that pancakes can be savoury too, sounds lovely.

Sheila How lovely that you're back! We missed you and wondered how you both were. Glad your hubby is doing well, and as for your weight loss that's amazing! Well done! It's evidently really helped your health :T

monnagran good to see you safely back from your diplomatic mission :j

Hester I hope your appraisal goes ok even though I know you are past caring xx

I'm getting that cold that seems to be going round, but my stomach has been much better today and I've actually been eating! An odd selection of food, admittedly, but it's been lovely to have a bit of an appetite!

Bought a couple of jumpers at Sainsbugs today, as my favourite ones were in a sorry state. It will be interesting to see how long the new ones stay looking nice.

Hope you're all ok burtha, chimney fires are scary, we've had 2. Sadly one of them resulted in a large roof fire - DD had lit the fire then gone upstairs, thought she could smell that someone had a bonfire (we lived in the middle of nowhere) and the first she knew was when the fire brigade knocked on the door!

Good to hear from you chickens, your weight loss is amazing.
monna - well done on completing your mission and good luck cooking for so many today.

We have had some snow but thankfully not enough to make much difference, probably as it rained first. Pretty darned cold though.
