Thank you so much everyone for all your good wishes, prayers, etc :) I'm really touched.
Thankfully I woke up feeling quite a lot better this morning! It occurred to me last night to ask DS to drop me at the hosp before he went to work, so he did that. I managed fine on the bus home and have even eaten a sardine sandwich for my lunch! I just hope the nausea stays away now .

The only thing I can think of that was different is that while i'm on the tablets for vertigo I'm not supposed to take my regular antihistamine, but last night i did, because I came out in hives on my arms (that's the reason I take the antihistamine in the first place). then today I feel much less sick! Strange. Mind you, the vertigo has been a bit worse again, probably because I took the antihistamine. Swings and roundabouts!

softstuff Good luck with the new job :)
  • Evening all,

Ivy, I'm glad you managed the hospital and sandwich! I hope results come back quickly and with something easily resolvable!

Softstuff, I hope the first day was a good one!

We're back from London and I'm mostly over the cold. The sinus infection cleared fairly quickly once the antibiotics kicked in, so I'm glad I went to the doctor and got it sorted. OH is back in work today. I have a bit of time off this week, mixed with starting a new project but at my own pace. I did the shop today and still need to get a few bits that I couldn't get at Ald!. We're having a K*** and goat's cheese fritatta for tea, probably with crusty bread and coleslaw. Might do an apple cinnamon cake for puds if I've got the energy left. We rarely eat k*** as spinach is usually cheaper for us but as it is on supersix thought we'd give it a go.

Hugs to all who need them.x

Good news softstuff, hope it goes well.
Glad you survived ivyleaf, hope you feel better soon.

Felt weird today coming home when it was almost dark but will have to get used to it. Went for a walk to the bottle bank after work before the trick or treaters get started - I'm staying in with the blinds closed!

Well that's one advantage of a flat with an entry system no trick or treaters.
