  • Hope everyone is well, or getting their - have lost track again a little :-)
Seems my flu jag caused a mini flare-up of my arthritis, my left shoulder and neck, so relieved it isn't the start of something bigger. Have been feeling meh for a few days, and was so worried that pneumonia was returning, everyone seems to have a cold or a tummy bug around me!!!

... hobbles off wishing I had the energy to be salacious.. sounds like fun!

Does anybody know where/who has the nicest Rose & Violet chocs? I love these and saw them on Lakeland site- but a site called Whittakers does them far cheaper. Are they any good, does anybody know? I'm starting xmas shopping lol

Tha is for all those loving wishes for my black eye! You lot are as bad as the group I was away with. It happened on the middle week of my holiday at the begining of this month. Bruising all gone but still got a lump on right brow bone that took the brunt - 10 & a half stone smack on to a concrete floor. Was very lucky as it could have been worse. A lovely lady who was a retired doctor checked me over every day till I came home!. Yoga is a very dangerous sport - think I'll stick to sailing - at least I can wear a life jacket.
Nursemaggie - Hallelujah you've not only seen the light you've got it. I'm imagining you wearing dark glasses now ;)
Westcoastscot - hope your meh feeling soon passes and you start to feel frisky!
I've just made DH'S eyes light up ( no not that way Hester) 'cos I mentioned beef casserole and dumplings for tomorrow's meal. He's easily pleased ;)
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

Morning all. I've never heard of rose & violet chocolates, obviously I haven't lived. I don't know what's on page 132 of the Kama Sutra either.

Today I am going to bounce for a while on my mini-trampoline, have a soak in the bath and then be in the right frame of mind to tackle today's jobs. Major works in the garden and I need to hoover & mop through the house.

DH is taking me out to dinner later though.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Mmmm rose a violet chocolates, mind you I've yet to meet a chocolate I didn't like!
Floss, your gift arrived yesterday, that is so very kind, I didn't get chance to let you know yesterday as I had my 2 yo DGD here from 9am to 7pm, I went to bed not long after she left.
NurseMaggie, glad your light arrived, even if you do need to wear dark glasses.
Elona, I do record everything, it's what I call my AC exercise A*** Covering.
To add to my joy, I'm being harassed by the CSA, phone call to them on Monday explaining that the case was closed over 10 years ago when they were satisfied that it was a malicious claim.
Sorry to hear you are under the weather WCS.
Ivyleaf, don't forget to smile for the camera! Fingers crossed it goes ok.
Fuddle, I can go B over B walking in a straight line, never mind trying yoga
    Chin up, Titus out.

Glad you're feeling well enough to think about choccies, mar :j I was thinking of you last night and wondering if you had started feeling a bit better yet x

WCS Wishing you better soon :)

Feeliing rough myself, very nauseous but can't seem to be sick _pale_ i've got tablets for vertigo but I don't think this is connected with that. Perhaps I'll take this morning's dose and hope for the best.

    Hi all,
Can't help with the chocolate ,I normally only eat very dark with ginger, the odd time I have it ... would rather have some crisps lol
Nursemaggie, glad the light is good , even if it's very bright , it reminded me of when we first moved in here ....lovely detached house built in 1890, lovely coving ,original everything, fireplaces( boarded up) doors, glass, ect, every room had a 6 ft strip light in it ,hallway, sitting room had been put through the ceiling rose .... hence why many years later we are still doing it up , as well as having a life :D
Had a hectic couple of days , so easy start this morning , but may be working teatime ...so about to prep lunch , then shopping ...
Back to the real job tomorrow and school ...
    £223/ £250 GC

Think it was Beechs coffee ones I purchased in our wee sweetie shop - they were vegan!! lovely :-)
Thanks for all your kind thoughts, I'm fine again now, arthritis back under control, and turning my thoughts to prepping for price rises and Christmas (not necessarily in that order). I'm in the city for a day next week and have a long shopping list! :T
