A diagnosis can be a good thing Mar if it brings hope, and I get the feeling you have a little hope. Of all the years I've read your posts that can't-be-arrissedness always gets in the way.
HH it's one thing after another. I wish for you a break pretty darn quickly.
Thank you for all the dietary advice. I'll continue as I am then. I had the results of my echo cardiogram yesterday - showed nothing other than a fast heart beat. I suppose that is good news. I had lung function tests yesterday too and have hurt myself. I pulled the last of the rhubarb and picked my blackberries. All in the freezer for when I am fit and able. I also made a.casserole yesterday. Ladies, I've put myself back about 5 days doing too much. I have been in bed since 6pm last night. You all warned me. I am taking notice now.0 -
Good grief Fuddle, haven't you learned yet? Listen to Auntie, she's always right.
Mar: I hope you are practising curtain climbing. In the meantime read the above advice to Fuddle and REST. Do I really have to keep repeating myself?
Today has been water day. Two children, several buckets of warm water with a squeeze or two of WUL, a couple of brooms, a sponge, and some old cloths. The Wendy house has been scrubbed, likewise the patio stones which are now devoid of chalk hopscotch marks and various pictures, the outside of the kitchen and living room windows, patio doors that were cleaned professionally by pukka window cleaners last week and are now smeary, streaky and unsavoury. One peaceful afternoon for monna, two happy, soaked children, one garden looking as though it has been raining soap suds and two appalled parents who have just arrived home from work.
I have retreated to my room and am resting on my laurels, or lazing on my bed if you must have the absolute truth.
I must now go to another thread and teach someone how to boil an egg.
Sigh.............a guru's work is never done.

I'm not up to anything other than rest lol. I've posted an ask on a separate thread called "Aldi shoppers- I need help". We've been getting Sainsbugs online for far too long and the cost is ridiculous.0

Should have asked me about Ald! mar I do my main shop there.
There are one or two things we don't buy from them but we have gone through everything they sell, that we use and tried it. We look at the price and discuss whether what we bought before is worth the difference. Some things we can't tell the difference at all, some are even better like their soap powder and washing up liquid and the rest are slightly different and acceptable.
Some things are as much as half the price and others around a third cheaper. Overall I think we save slightly over 40%. Definitely worth travelling to.
I do have a Mr M just round the corner. DS can go and be back in 20 minutes, it takes me an hour, but then he does not check all the YS stuff like I do. I keep it for top ups, fresh stuff and the Indian stuff that works out even cheaper than Ald!0 -
Loads of folk are helping and I've got a wee list ready. I might be able to go myself since Aldi isn't a huge shop like Sainsbugs. If we go really early when it's empty. I think we liked their washing up liquid a lot the last time we got it.0

Aww fuddle, so sorry you've put yourself back
It's so easily done. DD had her appendix out a month ago and she still finds the area gets really painful unless she takes things gently, including not walking far. She's getting really fed up now! Get well soon xx

Sometimes it does take a little setback before it sinks in Fuddle, at least you'll rest now.
I'm a bit kinder to myself than I used to be, but I'm a slow learner :rotfl:
Went back to the docs because even after a course of antibiotics, wasn't feeling better. Well, after tests it turns out it isn't a kidney infection, he's suspecting adhesions from previous ops. Ultrasound next week. All I can say is, ouch.
Hopefully getting a shower screen this morning. Progress marches steadily on.
And we took your advice MTSTM and booked a night in a hotel with hubbys tax refund. Screw the expense, we need a holiday.Softstuff- Officially better than 0070 -
Or... not getting a shower screen. The installers came, the original guy had mismeasured by 25mm in each direction.... so maybe we get a shower screen in about 2 weeks. :rotfl:Softstuff- Officially better than 0070
