  • Mar a gentle hug from me too. At least you have a diagnosis at last, not what you would want, but nevertheless they know what is wrong.

I have just looked it up, because I didn't know what it was,

I would recommend taking a JELLY BABY after each tablet.

    Much love

Awh thanks ladies - I am totally fine about it really. If I had been a very healthy person and suddenly got hit by this then it would've been a horrible shock. But after 15 years of ME it's actually great to hear that I've got a REAL illness, and that there is a PILL! Wow lol -luxury after ME! Just have to take daily steroids (tiny dose) for the rest of my life and be very careful not to get ill.
And I'm on the JellyBeans today :D

Oh Mar, how horrible for you but at least you know why you've been feeling so awful ((HUGS)) I hope you'll soon be feeling much better.

Mar and Hester hugs from me.

Mar I would think like me you can't eat just one jellybaby. Every time I promise to make a packet last three days then I eat the whole pack at once. If you can just eat one it would be a good reminder to take your tablets. I am sure you will remember having a sweet better than taking a tablet. At least you don't have to have an injection every day.

I've gone off sweeties maggie - taken a salt craving and have moved on to ready salted crisps :) Lost 2 stone in all so can afford a week or two on the crisps then will need to stop that!
  • Mar I hope the tablets help you to start feeling better.

You can make your own low fat crisps either with thin slices of potato, sprayed with fry light and baked or with pasta shapes. Cook the pasta shapes till soft, dry on clean tea towel, spray with fry light and add salt, pepper, herbs etc and bake for about 15 minutes.

Some bad news on here today, HH, what a shock for you, I hope you manage to hound your ex for the money you are due.

Mar, Sorry to hear of your diagnosis but as you say, at least you have a reason for your 'can't be arrsedness'. The catering manager at work has a son with Addisons (he's 17) and it is managed very well, hope it will be the same for you.

Your little 3 year old pal will go far monna!

Had a lovely surprise today - went to my raised bed to check that the plants were still alive (surprisingly they are) and there was a little tray of leek plants with a note on saying 'from your new neighbour'. I was chatting to a girl who has also been given a bed and we were discussing what we could plant at this late stage of the growing season, I had said that I was disappointed that I hadn't been able to get any leeks so I presume it was her that left them for me. How nice was that?
