Wouldn't we all like to blow the hair drier on our skin to get rid of the sagging as well as the wrinkles.
I think it was softstuff who said that, she is too young to have any wrinkles or sagging.
Soon be over all that dust and then you can enjoy the house all new. softstuff0 -
Oh Hester, bless his heart!
Tipsntreats That did make meabout the flasher!
Softstuff I made myself a G & T last night and have been regretting it ever since! I have no idea why it should have made me feel unwell. Huge commiserations about the builders to both you and greenbee. Our son got a builder friend round yesterday to have a look at where part of the wall at one end of the front doorway was lower than the rest. Turned out a run of bricks had dropped slightly. But the chap was baffled because he couldn't see that there had been anything holding them in place to begin with, so he couldn't work out how they had been laid. We decided that the original doorframe must have been deeper and that they'd been resting on that! Anyway all will be sorted soon and thankfully it doesn't seem as if the house is about to fall down (yet).0 -
Hester, that's actually quite lovelyI was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0

One day, when we were in a side room working on the social services budget, she confided in me that 'the best thing about X is that he doesn't want sex too much'. I wondered how many fantasies would have been shattered on hearing those words! :rotfl:0 -
I once worked with a man that was film star good looking and he had a very plain wife, funny thing was he had a very plain mistress too, maybe he just didn't like competition.Chin up, Titus out.0

Bless you NurseMaggie, for saying that, though right now I feel about 80....
Renos should be done by Christmas. .. if we're lucky. There's a fair sized road ahead. The garden is coming along leaps and bounds compared to how we started though. Probably partly due to me wanting to be out there instead of in here! I know it'll all be worth it and will keep repeating that like a mantra. Especially since as of today we're about to have no shower for 3 weeks
Hester libido comes and goes, kindness is forever. Hope your L&M gets some relief from his situation soon.
Funny you should say that about the G and T Ivyleaf, it didn't do me any good either, stomach wise. Back to whisky this evening...
Anyhoo, onwards and... er... onwardsSoftstuff- Officially better than 0070 -
My DH knows that was a factor in why I married him because I still talk about particular talent of his alot! He does this>Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Softstuff Many people with M.E. find alcohol makes it worse, but I'm usually all right with one gin. Not this time though, I had terrible brain fog and felt hungover all day! A bit better today though.0

Ah, I didn't realise. Mine is stomach related, can never tell what the trigger is. Sometimes no red wine, sometimes something else. I could be more restrictive but life's too short.Softstuff- Officially better than 0070 -
Writers circle last night, we have 2 social meetings a year when partners come along too, a murder mystery evening or quiz night, one member has complained that we always get fish and chips at these events, she wants one of them to be a buffet. Will she contribute to the buffet? Nope, so fish and chips it is then.
DD2 has extended her family again, she has the 19 year old brother of one of her LAC's staying, he's been there for about 12 months or so, he has now taken over the care of his 2 year old son, so DD takes care of the 2 year old whilst the 19 year old is at work. Ye gods, what's wrong with contraception!Chin up, Titus out.0
