I'm Aquarius. As such have an inquiring mind, cynical attitude and don't believe in horoscopes :rotfl:

Waiting for it to get light enough to see the sample grout that's between 2 loose tiles outside to check the colour. In fairness to myself, the tradie is my best friends husband and if he's been paying any attention at all over the past few years he should have known I'd be picky :p

2 physio sessions today... well, 1 physio, 1 pilates at the physio. Yikes.

I thought I pop in early and give something to giggle about that isn't smutty.

Last night was my writers circle meeting, not only were we plagued by flying ants, one lady was determinedly swatting them with a magazine, another was having hysterics because she didn't want them killed.

She became even more hysterical when they all started to land on her as they took a shine to her yellow tee shirt.

We also read out the rest of our stories that we had put forward to be professionally critiqued. Well all I can say is if you can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen!

The topic we were given to write about was Shakespeare , there had to be a connection, however loose.

One gentleman had written a description of the battle of Agincourt but made no mention of Shakespeare or any connection to him and this was pointed out in the critique.

Yes Shakespeare wrote about Agincourt and Henry V, but basically this was just a rewriting of the battle from other sources, ignoring Shakespeare.

The critic was kind about the writing style and the research undertaken but couldn't see the connection to the given topic.

Well it went down like a lead balloon, the poor critic had his knowledge of Shakespeare, writing in general and even his legitimacy called into question!

And I thought I was bad at taking rejection, still it enlivened the evening somewhat.
