A bit naughty, softstuff? A BIT NAUGHTY.?

Saying that Hester is a bit naughty is like saying that the Atlantic Ocean is a bit damp.

Oh, thank you. A whole lot of Christmas present problems solved in one fell swoop.

    Love the elephant.

A good way to use up bits of wool. Though I wonder if measuring recipients might be a touch intrusive.

  • Evening all.., just have to say Sean bean as Sharpe, yes please lol

And sorry to shock people but  this widow, has a sex life. She actually has a few very :p good friends , it suits me and them perfectly .. And I know Hubby would have approved , I could show you the list he left ha ha ha

I have no regrets, if it's good it's wonderful, if it's bad , it's experience..

Ok , up date as promised. About a year after Stu died I felt like I had hit a wall. I've struggled to find the energy to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Then I had my gall bladder out, I felt better for a while, then started just getting pains in my joints, muscles , odd jabbing pains, total exhaustion , etc, finally after many trips to the GP for pain killers and the usual , loose weight, the our stressed talks
a nurse practitioner suggested I might have fibromyalgia, or an under active thyroid, but blood tests had ruled that out, re tested and the doc says the numbers are close, it could still be both lol, so on levothyroxine for the last 3 months , I'm still getting pain, but... I have energy again ..
At the same time work was going through a reshuffle that would mean I would have to apply for my job AND work full time, so I took the chance to cut my stress levels and work hours to just 10 hours a week and step down a level.
So I need to be careful with my money and cut back, hence my return lol
What else.. Oh yes, and I've signed up to do the first level of a counselling course.

Apologies for the long post but it's good to be back , X .

Ye gods I hope I'm not the only one.
I'm probably the only one who witters on about it, but I blame that on working with almost 1000 teenagers who think sex stops when you each your 25th birthday.
Though I do work with someone who gave up sex when she was pregnant with her 2nd child, 28 years ago.
I also used to think that when Mar referred to her DH as the RV, I thought she meant Recreational Vehicle!

She didn't? I thought so too. Hmmm... Resonates Virility, Reckless Vamper, Relies (on) Viagra ???

Cornishchick: It's a bu&&er isn't it, this coming back to life after your world has been shattered. Please allow me to say that I think you have coped amazingly well.
Obviously we are only seeing you as you are now and as much of the struggle as you let us into, but I do admire your practical approach to life.

It's good to have you back and know that you are still managing to have some fun.; ;)

    Well done you.

Sending a big virtual hug Cornish Chick, you've had so much to cope with and it sounds like you're fighting on. On that note, the least I can do is gift you Sean Bean, if it's ever a toss up between the two of us ;)

P.S I'd hope as I'm alive there'll be sex. If not, someone can put me out of my misery.

But Softstuff, Monna would have to measure the recipients because otherwise they would just lie.
I'm sure you all know the old joke about why women can't park?

It's because they are told that this (holds fingers about 3 inches apart) is 6 inches.

And I definitely can't park, I just get out and abandon my car, but both my daughters can, so they must have met fewer liars than me.

And now I'll go to work before I get banned from the thread!

Cornish Chick it is lovely to see you back.

If anyone would like to read any of my stories, there are some on one of my blogs or pm me your email addy and I'll forward them on. I fear you will be disappointed though as they contain no graphic sex scenes.

I have realised that I cannot write fight scenes, probably because I don't fight.
But I also cannot write sex scenes apart from the 'They moved towards the bed...............' sort

Oh and RV stands for Ratty Virgo, I also have one, it's a common trait of the older male Virgo I'm told.
    Chin up, Titus out.

Morning all. Just catching up with the thread and oh so funny. I'm in the Hester camp here even though people think I don't do it anymore because I keep my glasses round my neck.

Right, DH and I are off the paid stuff at the moment, better get cracking before it gets too hot!

    Have a great day everyone.
