Monna, any biography of mine would be far too shocking for a respectable lady such as your self to read.
Oh & I do wear knickers, pvc ones to work!Chin up, Titus out.0 -
Ahem....and some/many of us were simply too busy "living it" to keep a diary at the time....
and have spent time subsequent to that thinking "Whatever possessed me......?:mad:".
I blame "hormones" personally....and we'd all be well off without them imo....
Thankthelawd for the death of "hormones" I say:) - blasted nuisance that served absolutely no useful purpose imo:)
Motto = There are some advantages to reaching middle age - imo of course....0 -

All the more reason to get it written now, before you start to forget... If it'll shock anyone respectable it's bound to be a best seller
I have an editorial background. Happy to help out... :cool:0 -
Pipe down Greenbee, that diary's mine!
Hester, where did respectable come from? I am the only person allowed to say such things about me. Stop trying to damage my reputation.

I'm away from the thread for less than a day and what do you lot get up to? Talk of publishing smutty books and damp knickers! I have to be away for a week soon, but I don't want to miss anything. Make sure you keep a good record so I can catch up. I'm a very sedate 33 but I'm happy to take lessons from those of you are are more well-rounded in your experiences
We've just finished our tea--eaten in the garden and it was delicious. There is just now the perfect fluffy looking cloud peeking from behind a cupola that I can see from a building on the main road which is behind a few roads of houses. Maggie the cat is now very happy after an afternoon in the garden, she has positioned herself in her favorite spot on top of the wardrobe (there is a cloth bag with a quilt stored in it up there) and is about to settle down for a nap.0 -
OMG... There goes my mental image of genteel ladies of a certain age enjoying their crochet
HESTER - doesn't PVC squeak in this heat :eek:Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
£300/£1300 -
Can you all hear me? I'm red faced, rolling on the floor and howling with laughter here in New Mexico.
:rotfl::T:rotfl::T:rotfl::j:j:j
Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Blow "genteel" - some of us aint never gonna do "genteel". We're just too old and tired (and the hormones have given up - thankthelawd:)) to do anything else....:)
Some of us less than others of course - step forward and take a bow Hester:rotfl:
One of the cues for realising one is getting older imo = you've forgotton 99% of the trouble those darn "hormones" got you into and are squirming visibly about the 1% you remember
- unless you're Hester of course LOL....0 -
You just wait until they are all well in their 80s they only get worse with age. After attending years off sheltered housing coffee mornings and lunch clubs where the average age was around 87 tells me it won't be printable by the time they get to that age. They weren't just women either.
They did not even tone it down when we all went to the lunch club at the local methodist church.0
