Hugs Monnagran. Hope you feel better after a nights sleep, must have been so tough.nursemaggie wrote: »Floss I think softstuff is missing M&S we will be shopping in there I bet.
I love afternoon tea in there. I like the scones. And the sandwiches. And the tea.
I also adore the M and S food hall. Not that I ever bought much in there it was always too dear. As a child I figured if I could buy food in M and S then I'd have made it..... no dreams of BMWs here. Never thought I'd be in a country without it, not that I could afford it now either :rotfl:
Looking forward to meeting you both. To find me, I'm about 5ft 9, size 12, jaw length brown hair with grey bits and I'll be shiveringSoftstuff- Officially better than 0070 -
When I'm feeling down, if I've got the energy then I clean the house. I go and do something. Like yesterday and today, after a very nasty outburst on a group I really love being in. And that was among us Admins too.0

Morning all, we had to be up at silly o' clock this morning to take delivery of some new fence panels and fixings to replace some that came down in storm Katie, that will be He Who Knows job today with a couple of helping hands from a friend and my brother. I'm off to the Sea Scouts Jumble Sale at 10 in the village hall to see if there is 'treasure' to be found, you never know. DD1 is taking a Bronze Duke of Edinburghs team out this weekend and they are camping tonight, just had a text from her and it's SNOWING! I think they'll be cold tonight poor loves but as she keeps telling me it will be the making of them! Wet and grey here again today, I thought the forecast was for better than yesterday but things change weatherwise don't they, it's an imprecise science!
SOFTSTUFF the biggest and best treat for me is a hotel Afternoon Tea doesn't happen often but makes me feel really spoiled when it does, just love the tiered cake stand with all the goodies on it and real leaf tea in a pot with top ups, luxury!0 -

I can't possibly thank you all individually but my friends, you are all amazing.
Just as I thought, I feel a whole lot better today and am going to spoil myself, all day.
I started by going downstairs and refreshing my HW bottle, making toast and coffee and taking it all back to bed. I'm still here, reading and foruming (can't wait see what tablet does with that). Oh! Perhaps I am getting the better of it.
I'll get up in a bit and potter up to the village to buy a loaf from the village bakery, a hunk of ripe brie and a bunch of watercress. That's exactly what I fancy for lunch. How un-MSE is that when I have other food already in that I could be using up? Don't care!
The only sensible thing I will do is to empty the car of all the things that I really want to have with me. Nursemaggie: you will understand about quarts into pint pots, won't you? Well this is more about gallons into egg cups.
I am thinking about Softstuff, and her sidekicks raising Cain in Blackpool. I hope you have an absolute ball. Would like to be there to see you.
I will leave you all to your busy, productive day. I have a bit more lazing about to do before I go out to dodge the showers.
Thank you all once again. It seems a hopelessly inadequate expression of how grateful I am to you all for your support, but thank you, thank you, THANK YOU.
