Debating on the tough thread historically ends badly for the thread and the people who use it.
    QUOTE]

Back into lurkdom then, don't want to upset anyone.

Think I'll join you, seems to be some sort of secret we aren't being let in on. I haven't seen a hint of anyone being upset so haven't got a clue what they are on about.

  • PLEASE!!! just let it go, we're all fine and the thread is a friendly and supportive place, don't not post because you can just as we all can. Life is entirely too short to wrangle with each other over anything and there is no need for anyone to feel excluded or cut out. No secret, just a potential for disagreement that is best averted and has been. Please don't anyone leave we're ALL needed and we're all welcome, please???

I am shocked by your previous post Fuddle. The issue seems to be about your problem with others.

Mrs LW- I thought this thread was for support in unhappy times as well as happy.

By expanding on topics people can get greater understanding, support and information

I've not often posted on this thread, don't think I'll bother again.:(

    Joining Mumps, I'm out.
Not dim ;) .....just living in soft focus :p
  • You must all do as you feel is right, I can't peacemake if no one listens.

That's my point Dovelling... there was little support in unhappy times because the debate took over.

Please just stay everyone. This is a fantastic support and happy thread normally, I just wanted it to stay that way.

RIGHT NOW CHILDREN. SIT UP STRAIGHT. ARMS FOLDED. LIPS TOGETHER.

No one is going anywhere. If anyone thinks they are going to slide off I've got news for you.
Who am I going to tease and be silly with if you all get earnest and serious.

Added to that, who is going to pick me up and hug me better when I'm dealing with the crappier carp life chucks my way occasionally.?

By the way, I am going back to the mainland tomorrow to pick up the rest of my stuff and am not looking forward to it. Never mind. Chins and Titus.

Hope all is well now. As I used to say to my children at school, "Most things can be made better with a hug and a Polo." I'd probably be put in prison if I was teaching these days.

I'm making a bag from a blog called SoZo, there are loads of useful resources on there. I have quite a lot of furnishing fabric, I am using some that is navy with a dark green strip, I'll post pics on my blog when it's done, I'm currently waiting for some interfacing to arrive as I don't have any of the correct weight.
    Chin up, Titus out.

I'm shushed. Debating isn't good for the thread but neither am I some times. I do mean well but I'll hold my hands up to holding grudges.

I'm an instant coffee drinker islandmaid but will consider swapping if there's a use for the grounds. I've already swapped my morning tea for coffee after reading it might speed up my metabolism on the school run. Yes, straws and grasping. :D

Would someone be so kind to post a link to Hester's thread?
