Ivyleaf I now have an image of someone sitting on the loo doing macrame with monitor wires. I suppose that is a bit different to reading a book whilst on the throne.I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order

I bring the GF biscuits for those with awkward diet requirements!;)
Pleased to see you back posting fuddle.
NurseMaggie I dropped the coffee canister to match your milk yesterday. Despite repeated clearing am still finding bits of kitchen floor that crunch.:o
I could do with a mobility scooter myself these days. Have appointment with Rheumatologist this afternoon at 4pm. Meaning I have to get two buses at school let out time. Lovely!
Hope everyone has a good day.Use it up, Wear it out, Make it do, Do without.0 -
Hmmm, I've dropped milk before and had to do something similar. Mustn't do that on any new carpet I buy...
Back from the consultant appointment at the hospital. All was going well until I was almost out the door..."I'd like you to have more blood tests" Something's not right and I'm worried you may be showing early signs of diabetes"
Then again it may be a false call...He'll have the results by tonight and call me if things aren't right. I come home and a letter is waiting from my surgery where I had the tests done on Monday asking me to call about my bloods, I assume its the same problem my Consultant mentioned today. Hey Pops! good to hear from you again. I know just what you mean about not being able to get up from the floor. It makes me furious when I'm crawling around looking for something to hang on to and pull myself up.
How's the rabbit getting on Fuddle?
Hope you are being well looked after Mrs VG.
Maggie: I understand about the oven. Mine is not too bad though a bit smaller than I would like. The problem is that it is fitted under the worktop and I think it is one that should be at eye level. The temperature setting button is very low and to see where the little white line is pointing involves sitting on the ground. This brings its own problems, (see previous post.) I tend to make wild guesses which are not always that accurate.
That's all folks!

Monnagran,
Good to see you too and its me that be out of the loop but it would appear that you are still on the IOW. Hopefully things are ticking over OK X"A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson

I like those too, but only the Jacobs ones.
I'm partial to Lemon Puffs, although they're not the right shape these days!
Mrs Veg Plot Yes, it was a bit like that :rotfl:
Pops Monnagran is in Somerset now! Fingers x'd that you haven't got diabetes as you have enough to contend with already, but if it is that, at least it's being picked up really early.
Monnagran Good to see you posting. Are you still knackered? Wishing you well x0 -
ivyleaf As I said out of the loop. Hopefully much happier in the new surroundings. Thanks for the info.
Yes diabetes can be lived with/controlled. He mentioned steroids for the reason the new blood tests being taken(I have been on them for 17yrs+)Said they'd call tonight, they haven't. Rang the Consultant's office, they'd gone home. I'm out now(playing bingo with pensioners)and tomorrow out early for a musical Jam session with a Jazz trio so if I don't hear soon I'll have to go until next Monday to find out. Afternoon all
My paid for sewing jobs are coming it thick & fast, but I'm managing to keep up so far.
WB Pops & Fuddle.
Hubby is getting on with his garden, the tomato plants are now about a foot tall, he also has lots of other veg coming along well so hopefully we'll have lots of HG veg to eat later. We already have a tray of cut & come again salad leaves ready to eat.

Our rabbit is a superstar. We're all smitten. She's a house rabbit but only free when we're in so we spend our evenings with her causing mischief amongst us. I type this on my phone I might add as she chewed my laptop charging cable. So much personality in a silent little creature.
How are you Monnagran? Are you over being I'll now?
I suppose I should come clean that I can't at all get on with an OS way. Normally very enthusiastic for learning new skills but I don't enjoy drop spinning. I can't use what I produce as its either too lumpy or dreadfully thin!0 -
