Am going to have some lunch now and then attempt to get up to the library and my first sewing group meeting. Not that I have any sewing stuff with me, its all still in Somerset waiting for me to retrieve it. Never mind, I will take my knitting.

Made it to the dentist and back, but it was a bit blowy on exposed parts of the motorway and going over the hills to get to it (fewer trees that way, but more lorries). I now have a full set of teeth again after 5 months.

We still have power, so obviously all the remedial tree work last spring has paid off.

Must find some soup for lunch, then get on with some work.

Is it really really bad of me to feel relieved that somewhere else is getting it, just for once? LOL - I know, I'm bad!! But we've had a constant conveyor belt of storms up here and I am grateful for the rest day!
I'm sorry Lucielle I think you posted to me earlier about Linseed bread- he canny stand Burgen and won't eat it, so I am looking for something I can make myself.
