Mardatha - Can I borrow some snow just for today ? I really, really want some and Fuddle let hers melt .
I take it Her Maj didn't come begging at your door or you'd be enjoying meals from Balmoral and not boiling eggs .
Enjoy watching the white stuff from your comfy seat by the fire - deep envy !
    Take care polly

Nothing to report but just wanted to say Kittie glad your family are safe. Softstuff - hope you can get your furbaby sorted and settled and Monna - just sending hugs for brighter days to come.

kittie, I hope your family are safe, those photos are shocking.
monna, I'm so pleased to hear you are feeling more positive, there's a big wide world out there that needs you.

The weather here is rotten, some sleet but mainly rain and it is so cold. The heating is on and I've just lit the fire. Considering going about 50m to the corner shop for a lottery ticket, but then again ............

Been to DDs and taken all the old seal from the shower, the plasterboard behind the tiles on one side was a bit damp so have left a heater in there to try to dry it out a bit. I will return tomorrow to put a new seal in. (Don't worry, DD will be home in a bit, not leaving the heater on till tomorrow!).

My friend who lives across the road just called in - her DM is in hospital receiving palliative care and last night her DDad was taken into the same hospital with what looks like a urine infection, confusion and dehydration. I looked after her children last night till their Dad got home, seems such a little thing to do.

Wasn't it John Lennon who said "Life gets in the way when you're making plans" What seems like a small gesture of kindness for many can mean the most.

Weather? Just lots of rain here. I sneaked out for an hour or so for coffee and milk. It was mild and not raining but was on the return home. At least I was coming home.

I try to get all the minerals/vitamins from my food(Fruit and Veg)and some meat/fish but I do still take some tablets/capsules. A multi vitamin and mineral, cod liver, omega 3-6-9, cranberry, ginko biloba, glucosamine sulphate, Chondroitin so I'm covering all bases :p

I have books and websites galore about foods and what various vitamins/minerals can do and also what to be careful over.

I'm listening to the radio and thinking of meals I want to cook and eat. That's a good sign when I think about food :)

I eat very little(small portions)but enough and considering how I like food I am quite pleased with my relationship with food.

I found a few Christmas items still selling but at half price so have some new decorations for my tree later in the year and a couple of Christmas mugs. I could've purchased more but there's only me and then they are no longer a bargain.

Morning fencers (oh and mine is now fixed btw).

Another windy/stormy/cold day here so apart from walking the dogs between showers I'll be staying indoors.

Looking forward to a relaxing day. DH is off today, first full day together since Xmas day.
