softstuff - What wonderful news! Hopefully you will now be able to enjoy your new home properly.
Good gift Mrs LW, how nice to get something that will last the winter - every time you burn the wood you will think of those folk.
I have run out of energy! Took a couple of bags of 'stuff' to the CS after work so at least that's out of the way but can't get myself into gear to do anything at the moment. Maybe after a rest looking on here I will get going again.
I ironed and put up the winter curtains at the front door yesterday only to find that they have shrunk in the wash! The lining has stayed the right length but the curtains themselves are about 6 inches short. I will chop one of them to fit the hall window and the new ones I bought to turn up for the hall will have to be fitted for the door. Good job I hadn't done them already!
Right, must do some painting.0 -
Hi GRAN 3 Cookie puppie belongs to our lovely pub landlords who are run off their feet busy at the moment and knowing how much we were missing Docky they asked us if we'd walk Cookie for them whenever we want to. It's a smashing arrangement and she's getting to know us and comes bouncing down the stairs when we call her. It's just what we needed and helps them too, can only be good yes?0
