    hahahaaa i love all this.

Some may read into these posts as revenge style tactics or sour grapes - but NO, i think ebay sellers like this need to learn a lesson, that they cant go round ripping us off.

He was trying to sell a car as 1 year newer (on paper) than it actually was which could be the difference when selling of a couple of hundred quid at least, the car was blantantly advertised wrong (dodgy tyres, no towbar, NEW, etc), and his greed could well have cost an niaive buyer dearly.

There is a high chance that someone could have got badly stiched up buying this car - so a good victory here and definitely money well saved.

All he needed to do was list his car correctly to avoid the hassle of a cancelled deal, but in his poor attempt to flower up the description in his favour, presumably for more $$$, he is now left with £0 in his pocket.

    What a FOOL!! :T :rotfl:
I never missed a payment :T , I paid off all my credit cards :T , I paid of all my loans :T , i have a work mobile :T - but am now "medium" credit risk
  • Seems to be one of those ebay businesses...the ones who sell stuff for other people. Won't be in business long if he doesn't learn to describe items properly. ;)

I can't believe anyone would part with 4k without going to view the car prior to bidding.

Seemed like a good buy to me, even for a 2004 car.

Sounds like he reached into a stationery car, ripped it out and legged it.

Definitely sounds stolen. If it came from a legitimate source he should still have been able to get the PIN number from the owner

I am not sure of the Garmin units but the Maps normally come on an SD Card...... which he isn't supplying!!
So it is a 4 inch screen, perhaps useful as a torch if you can manage to get it plugged in... if you had a lead for it!!

    From the listing
"nüvi 660 comes ready to go right out of the box with preloaded City Navigator® NT street maps, including a massive points of interest (POIs) database with hotels, restaurants, fuel stations, ATMs and much more. Simply touch the sunlight-readable colour screen to enter a destination, and nüvi takes you there with 2D or 3D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions"

Hmm, no wonder people get confused at what they are actually bidding on. he contradicts himself all over the listing.

I cant believe he's still got 100% feedback the way he lists things
