You bid on an auction and didn't bother pay.

You then made the sellers life needlessly hard when he objected to your actions.

    A double messer.

    Mr Brooker,

You've got you story slightly wrong, yes i did bid on an item but I also retracted that bid, which is in line with ebays policy. Therefore I had terminated the contract, no different to if the seller had emailed me and decided not to sell the item.

As far as making the chaps life needlessly hard I disagree I merely told him the truth, which is an issue which yousellf and this chap seem to have a problem with.

I understand that you feel the need to vent your spleen and be angry with everyone who doesnt conform to brooker law but you have to realise that your just flapping your fingers for the sake of trying to rouse some kind of kudos in the MSE community, maybe you should drop this chap a line, his trading name is auctionator on ebay, and tell him that you understand him and feel his anger etc etc, who knows a beautiful thing may come out of it.

    All the best

The flaw with your argument is of course that if he wasn't breaking the rules and likely to cause more problems for less experienced buyers, there would be nothing to report him for and it would have all just gone away.

I think this says it all, Why is this thread still open , I hate it when it all turns bad, It is not a case of opinions here it is 'ebay law' and whats right and wrong by it! this has been dealt with now move on its getting boring!! perhaps this thread should be closed now!?

Obviously this is in regards to the recent picking out bits and adding their 'tuppence' worth cos they are having a bad day! And I am sure that this dave person is someone on here often on a different username which they alternate through posts whether they are feeling happy or not!!
