Have had a great day today with all the glorious chaos that comes with having family over.

I have lots of lovely leftovers that I have been surveying since they left, including a bottle and a half of wine, sparkling mineral water, orange juice. coke, chilli (enough for tomorrow and probably the next day LOL!) salad, dips, cheese, trifle, cheesecake....... feeding frenzy or what LOL!!:rotfl:

I did buy another pack of that "naughty" strong coffee that got me in a spin a few days ago so will make sure I go easy on it!! At least I'm aware now of the effect that it can have when I OD on it!!

I love having leftovers after I've had guests, somethings like chilli just seem to taste so much better reheated!

Def go easy on the coffee, we don't want you doing yourself a mischief when you can't settle again
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

That's so true scuba about things often tasting better reheated - the leftover chilli was great tonight!

Have had a couple of glasses of the leftover wine tonight too!

Oh and a helping of trifle.

And I made up some lovely rolls at lunch with some of the left-over cheese and coleslaw. And had some of the orange juice.

I almost had a NSD except for needing to buy 2 greetings cards, but after using price promise coupons for £1.16 I only spent 59p on those and I already had the stamps!!

So total spend for the day = 59p:beer:

Very pleased to be able to report a NSD today after only spending 59p yesterday as well!

On a less encouraging note I have a fence panel down after the gales that we had here last night and today. I shall have to get the hammer and nails out and see what I can do to repair it, as I don't want to spend a lot of money right now. I don't feel worried though - I would have done before but things have to get put in perspective!!!!:o

The only spend today was £2.50 for a bus fare, making a total of £3.09 so far this week!!!

Went to the hospital for the radio show, just had a hot water from the cafe (free:T) instead of a coffee.

I'm still living off all the leftovers so have not had to do a top-up shop, although I'll need to get some milk tomorrow.

Naughty bus driver left me stranded on the way home. He left early from the hospital by about 4 minutes, enough for me to miss it and see it disappearing from view. I ended up walking home which was probably good exercise and took about 45 mins. It did start raining but only a little bit so it could have been a lot worse!!

I now have two fence panels down from the gales - once again it could be worse though as they are still intact rather than in lots of pieces!!

Aah Levi, I didn't get a chance!!:o The whole show ended up being on an April Fool's Day theme - we did a quiz thing where we read out all sorts of weird things that were either true or April Fools (I only got 3/7 right LOL!!!:D) and we played lots of tracks like Fool if you think it's Over and These Foolish Things (remind me of You) etc etc.

So I will carry that over to a future show and let you know when I've played it:j

Thank you for all those lovely icons, I love this one:EasterBun:EasterBun
