Well I feel mighty peculiar. I can't concentrate on anything properly, and can't even concentrate on relaxing! And lots of little things that I wouldn't normally worry about are irritating me like crazy!

I actually think I know why it is, although it's taken me nearly all day to figure it out. I think it's because I've had too much coffee! I bought some Kenco Millicano (other brands of coffee are available!:D) and it's lovely, but quite a bit stronger than the coffee I've been drinking at home for a while. (which also I wasn't drinking very much of, as I didn't like it much! If that makes sense).

I've therefore probably got myself into this hyper-state of tension very quickly over the last day or two, and now I feel I want to have more and more cups of coffee..........I was only drinking strong coffee if out at a coffee shop and had broken the addiction habit at home!!!:o

There is a decaff version of the Millicano which is just as nice so I'll be getting that if I buy it in future - this pack was supposed to be a treat but it seems to have backfired on me!! I'm amazed at how quickly these bad effects have kicked in!!

it will deffo be the coffee! you might wanna run around the block 18 times before you go to bed :D i don't do decaf coffee because caffeine is more or less the only thing that keeps me alive but it sounds as if you might be better giving it a go.... i am so tolerant to caffeine it would take me a skips worth to get to the point you are at now. er.. i would say "sleep tight" hummingbird but that might be a bit optimistic hehe xxxxx

Thanks for confirming it's the coffee Levi! I actually felt a bit of relief once I'd written that post, as I'd realized what was making me feel like that!:rotfl: At least now I can do something about it!

These diaries are so valuable in lots of ways aren't they?!

By the way I used to be like you and could drink gallons of the stuff because my system was so used to being highly caffeinated LOL! I must have "decaffeinated" myself to a much lower level to have experienced these effects!!!! :rotfl:

Yup def sounds like the caffiene. I'm a bit like Levi, virtually immune to it unless it comes in the form of an energy drink in which case two mouthfuls set me off!

I used to love working in a coffee shop as I had latte/cappucino quite literally on tap, dread to think how much I was drinking in a week, and I liked mine with extra shots.

Thanks scuba - I can't even imagine what I'd be like working in a coffee shop and having lattes and cappucinos on tap! :p

When I was at my caffeinated height I could drink an energy drink and feel no effects (although I've only very rarely had them). I'm definitely not having any of those right now!:rotfl:

Wise move, I only tend to drink them when I'm driving home or back, too sweet, too much of an odd taste for my liking.

So I've managed to decaffeinate myself quite well over the last couple of days. I've bought a jar of the not-so-nice stuff and have only had about 3 cups a day total which for me is very low. I feel SO much better!:j

Meanwhile have been doing some decluttering, lots of cleaning, put new curtains up in the bedroom, etc.

Not so good on the budgeting/moneysaving front this week though....my thoughts have been elsewhere as I have family coming round on Sunday and I've bought a few "extras" - blown budget a bit (not hugely though):o

I salute you, I'd be terrified to decaffeinate myself. I remember once I ended up in a situation where I didn't have access to any caffeine for a day & I was a HORRIBLE human being..and I vowed.. never again.. I'm in too deep..caffeine free Levi is not worth knowing.. and all I would do is sleeeep. Probably if I stayed off it for an entire week or something and let my body fully get over it, it would be OK - but HELL NO to living through that week.:p

Love the de-clutteration Humming- we're all at it and it feels goooood. :)
Have a lovely weekend little birdie. Don't worry about a few treats - remember we still have to enjoy life. :heart2: xx

I was the same when the coffee shop was shut Levi, luckily when it was shut I was able to hide out at home and not inflict myself on other innocent people!

Have a good weekend, and enjoy seeing the family types tomorrow.
