Subscribed,
have you got your head around YNAB yet? I had a good run at whoopsied items the other day, a whole trolley load, for less the a £5, every penny counts....
well done on getting the funds together to pay that POE, bill, that must me a weight off your shoulders, just goes to show the comradary seen on these diaries to keep others motivated and encouragement, always a way of off all problems somewhere... I got a letter about my old student OD expiring last week which threw me into a titther but I am now budgeting like mad to get enough to pay it off...I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards. Hi there Westie!!:j:j Great to see you, thanks for subscribing!:j
That's a great looking receipt I have to say! It looks like there were lots of items costing 5p or less wow!!!
You're right, every penny really does count. I haven't got back into YNAB for a while - I think I understand the basics of it but I haven't got the software - have you? I was attending some of the webinars so I may book in again for a refresh.£10 a day extra in May '18[B]£35/310[

I do have it, but like yourself I am a little bit of a night owl, so i subscribe to them in the early hours and have it on in the background, wishing that I win a free copy then I can gift it away to someone who wants to use it but doesn't want to pay the price... bit of a fairywestiemother type, do onto others how you do onto yourself or whatever the quote is... (*blonde and not ashamed to say it)...
yes lots of bargains to be had they discount the discounted items at 7:00 is most nights, I happened just to go in for milk which seems to be my easy route for dinner atm... and thought I may as well, I was happy with the bag of mushrooms that went through as 0.0p....I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards. Another night owl Westie - yay! I don't expect you will be tonight though as you haven't been well - hope you're better soon, it's horrible feeling rough like that. I won't be late tonight either as I can actually feeling myself dozing off over the laptop zzzzzzzzzzz!
I've got 2/3 of the money paid to the fencing - still got to sort out the rest of that over the next couple of days so it is all paid up within a week of the work being done. Then that's another item crossed off and done and dusted!:j:j
Had an almost no spend day today but not quite - had won a Big Mac LOL on that monopoly game and got a coke to go with it so 99p there plus local paper 60p so £1.59 total.£10 a day extra in May '18[B]£35/310[

I have a free big mac, fries and sundae, so got a full meal lol....
No spend day for me yipeeee, but then again all I have done is drink water and pop pills, I managed a bit of tiger bread and chocolate spread, hopefully this cold will have a bonus of weightloss!! I have no appetite to eat anything, probably because I can't breathe when I'm eating as my nose is blocked....

...And it's now the weekend which shows I've been neglecting m'diary! I was just too tired to post last night!
I had a lovely afternoon out at a garden centre which involved a drive through some lovely countryside to get to it. And it also involved a coffee and cake in their cafe and a good chance to have a catch up with a friend. Overall in total I've spent £8.70 today so not too bad for a "treat day".:p
Didn't buy any plants or anything remotely garden related! I would love to have a beautiful garden - I cut the grass and keep it tidy but that's it - I need to learn how to get the garden looking lovely without spending money! There must be a way and I know there's a thread about moneysaving gardening so I should have a browse on there.£10 a day extra in May '18[B]£35/310[
