Great news. Glad you had a good weekend, am sure your friends were happy to have you there.

yay for pennies in the pocket, Westie's advice worked then.

yes have a dose of positivity to give you the incentive to see the good in whatever you do, even if this means spending some pennies to see your friends its all retrospective and everyones needs friends even when they are being frugal :-)

Just clearing the decks for the new month that will soon be upon us - finding it hard to believe it's nearly May already! Where is this year going??

Must do the make £10 a day challenge this month - didn't do it in April and it really does make a huge difference to focus on it and keep a total!!:j

I've also just deleted some old and irrelevant stuff off my sig - so that more things can be added no doubt!

Just been on your diary Westie and found the answer to my question about all your different pots LOL! Feeling inspired!:j:j

Not sure about only potting even numbers?????? (but if it floats your boat!!!! Is that just because it feels better to have everything even?)

As mentioned further up ^^^^ somewhere or other, I love my coffee so it will be no surprise to find that I have some Kenco Millicano tins that will be very useful for the coins!

Only problem is that if you're not spending much, you don't get much change so not many coins, but I'll see what I can do!

Yes I dont like to see a 3,7,9 in my balance so I will wait till i have one more I'm okay with 1 though lol....

yes good start with the coffee tins everyone has to start somewhere, I have a halfway pot, which is where I put any coins that are not £1 or £2, so when they add up to either I swop them at work or pay them into my account then take out again in bags of £20, perk of working for a bank....

Back in the hospital radio studio today after a while away! Last time I was there was two weeks ago when we had a big charity fundraising event going on.

I was good and walked to and from the hospital instead of getting the bus, so saved a bit of money there on the fare ( although I'll be getting a pass soon so I'll get free bus travel:j:j.........NO it's not because I'm 60 LOL!!!!!!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: Just a perk for volunteering!!

Also just got a hot water from the wondrous cafe, which was free,:coffee: instead of succumbing to coffee so more money saved. (I'll be able to get a free drink with my pass though so another wonderful perk!!:coffee:)
