Thanks CC I don't go to the gym so a bit of walking won't do me any harm!!:D

It's probably not going to be easy for me to update on here over the next week while I'm away over Easter although if I get the chance I will. Have a great time lovelies!:j:j:j

Hope you have a lovely Easter.

And whoop for the new rosette.

Thanks scuba - and it's now been a week since I posted on here as I didn't get online while I was away. I think a total break from the internet is good sometimes though!! Had a lovely time over Easter even though it went all too quickly of course!

Well I ended up with a third damaged fence panel (this one didn't come down but has a large hole in it.) I 've had to have repairs done rather than just trying to fix it all myself. The whole lot is going to be £90 - not budgeted for at all:o but I know the bill could have been a lot higher and it would be worse if all the rest of the fence went down because I didn't get this damage properly sorted. My neighbours lost fence panels and their shed roof too! It was some storm with 60 miles an hour gusts.

The two panels that fell down have been put back up with a new fencepost that has been cemented in. The other damaged panel should be done either this afternoon or tomorrow morning. I'd been a bit embarrassed about the shabby state of this fence anyway, so at least it will look nice and smart now! :T

I missed you too Levi - made up for it today though, I've hardly been able to keep up with your diary, it's moved so fast LOL!

It was so strange, I'd just written on your thread about "stuff" and then the post came (we get it very late round here at the moment) - and a shock in the form of something I thought was ok giving me an ultimatum. I'd had such a lovely morning and had been planning to go out to make the most of the nice weather, but instead had to try to "practice what I preached" and not worry about it.Ended up in a state of anxiety which wasn't getting me anywhere.

Anyway I rang up. couldn't get through to anyone so left messages and fortunately someone helpful rang me back, and has divided the amount I owe into 3 payments over 3 months so much more manageable.

That's why I wrote what I did on your thread about learning from what others had written about your situation. I should have been putting small amounts aside to cover this and I had been letting it drift - then suddenly get a 7 day pay or else!!!!!

I still feel stressed - it's so draining isn't it????!!!! It will soon be "old stuff", that's what I need to remember!!

Lovely day today - spent the afternoon and evening with a friend and she cooked me a lovely meal. Yay! I feel much better than yesterday, even though I still have to sort out a lot with the finances, especially with the fence repairs and the "ultimatum" bill.

Haven't got back into spreadsheets or YNAB since coming back from Easter hols.

I need to jump back on the discipline bus I think!!

Didn't manage a 10p loaf today but got a nice one for 47p Also a pack of 2 chocolate cupcakes for 19p instead of 75p and a pot of double cream for 35p instead of 60p. Also used a coupon for 25 extra points on a small carton of wine. A few nice treats there and also got cornflakes, spag bol, a 4pint milk, yoghurt a tv listings mag, and the whole bill was £4.96

I've copied and pasted the above from a post I wrote on Hadalbm's diary about yellow stickered items! I'm feeling inspired to keep a check on my savings and bargains!:T:T:T
