Well done on the coffee front, I've failed that one this week having had lunch at a coffee shop yesterday and then another one at the cafe in the forest today!

As for the birthday - you did remember, later than you hoped but you remembered which is a start, I'm totally hopeless with things like that my friends are used to me sending them a packet of cards once a year with birthday, christmas, easter and assorted anniversary/childrens cards in. Then I forget I sent it and send more. :o
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

LOL scubaangel, on sending people a year's worth of cards in a pack!!

I do have a few friends who get a birthday card & Christmas card posted together. I always think that people who have birthdays really close to Christmas must feel they're missing out!

Loopy That's really nice of you to help your friend have a special b'day so near to Christmas! Bet a lot of folks are too busy!

Levi Thanks hun :-) I hadn't realised that LL was only just 4 before Christmas - did he start school straight after Christmas then? No wonder he was getting so tired after a day's school/travel -still so little bless him!! You are both doing amazing, hugs to LL!

Went to the radio studio at the hospital for a couple of hours this afternoon (did get a coffee but resisted a cake :A ) It is going to be so great once I get going on it properly! I have an "official" appointment next Wednesday to sort all my DBS stuff out and register for the induction program for volunteers.

I also will be selecting about 4 tracks for next week's show so will have to have a think what to have.

Also have been applying for a job this evening - it's for a maternity cover which would be an ideal way of easing back in - I applied for a full-on full-time job a couple of weeks ago and got an interview, but didn't get the job. Never mind it was good experience and I think it might have been difficult to get down to visit Dad as well, (and they specified all bank hols etc to be worked) so prob for the best...there will be other things. I've been out of the loop for about 18 months so need to get back in gear!!:p

Talking of which, I'm going down to Kent to visit tomorrow and will be staying until Tuesday - I'll try to check in on here from time to time but don't have internet at my Dad's so getting online usually involves going to a hotel down the road - so can't promise how often I'll be here!!
