Job seekers question

Well is it reasonable I get earlier than that time for work?0 -
no not if they required me to work harder. if they started to become too unreasonable. i am playing ball but if they make me one of their targets and take the pee then i will take the pee back. it doesnt mean i will reduce what i do but it does mean if i am ill one day i can be without worrying whether i will get sanctioned for being ill.DJ has a computer and the internet...because he wouldn't be posting on here otherwise. he said he'd only declare himself internetless to the DWP if they expected him to work any harder for his jsa than he does already...which I have to question as he has declared that his priority is to avoid sanction.
most people i have talked to think 7 days a week is too much. this includes people who run back to work schemes i have been on. they have all said the same thing, why dont you just tell them you no longer have the net.0 -
that would be foolish. to just do as you think is right and not worry about ensuring you are doing what is required of you. i would love to just focus on quality of jobsearch and not worry about what the jobcentre thinks. to ignore what they want and put yourself at risk of a sanction is a silly thing to do.Priority should be to get a job.0 -

Why get up at 5am? Just curious? Is it habit from working?
I used to be up at 6.30 but do not do that now. However I am up and laptop on at 8.300 -

i had a day out big deal. its amazing how that has become a crime. if i didnt have the net having 2 or 3 days out instead of jobseeking every week wouldnt be seen as an issue. why is it an issue for one jobseeker but not another. please tell me you see why their rules are stupid?Charlotte17 wrote: »If you were you wouldn't have spent the day out and about but job searching instead
i did still do the same amount of jobsearch that week.0 -

I am just surprised you have the money and feel "not guilty" for being out all day.
If I go to sign on and then go to the shops on the way home including time to get ready and get there etc I have missed 3 hours job searching and to me I feel guilty that I may have missed something.0 -
