Judi.. I don't even want to think how KH would react.. he's a tool at the best of times. For now we aren't telling him.

I think I am sad for the loss of the adult son and the life he would have.. wife, children, 'boy' things.. I need to grieve for him whilst learning to accept her.. I will sort my head.. what I am struggling to sort is sleeping arrangements.. currently I have the 2 boys in one room, DD2 in another, DDs 3 and 4 in another and DDs 5, 6 and 7 in the 4th .. where do I put him? it feels wrong to have him in with anyone else.

He is accepting of being called him at the moment, it is not part of my unacceptance. It was decided when a new name and dress code come into play we will change pronouns then.
The grief of knowing my daughter will never bear a child of her own hit me like a ton of bricks. I grieved for the child she would never bear. However, I don't know if you've followed any of my posts on the Daily thread or looked through my photos on FB. She now lives in South Africa doing charity work. She and her partner foster babies that are abandoned over there. They have adopted their first foster baby. Look through my family pics. The boy they have adopted (my Grandson) is called Soldier (theres a story behind his name btw). What I am saying is, grieve by all means but the future is not set in stone yet.

Sleeping arrangements. Well, whilst he is still accepting the title 'Him' I really think he needs to be with the boys. One thing I did say to my daughter was 'you might be different from other women but the rules you need to follow are the same as what everyone else has to follow, you might be different but your not that different'.

I have seen the pics of your grandbabies.. they are all so beautiful.

She could have a child of her own, I have a friend who has done just that, she had 2 in fact and a gay male friend who has fathered one for a gay female friend (bit risky IMO as he has congenital heart defect and severe arrhythmias and severe bradycardia, he had a pacemaker fitted in his teens and has nearly died a few times) There is always a way to be a parent and plenty of little ones in need of love and nurturing, I'd have them all given the opportunity! Don't lose hope of that one.

I don't think of anyone as different any more, we are all just following the same rules.. be nice to others, be kind and be happy..

I know he will have children in his life, he loves them, and there is the small matter of 10 siblings haha.

Pigpen hope you solve the bedroom Tetris. My male cousin has changed gender and at last my uncle has told my parents so I don't have to keep the secret anymore. I was asked to keep it to myself as my uncle was really struggling with the news.

I have been concentrating on my living room today. Voiles washed and rehung. Windows washed. Mould scrubbed ( not totally successfully)
Ground floor henried. Windowsill cleared and cleaned.

Mr T visited and show tickets distributed to friends.

My costume is quite tight so I have been trying to unpick the side seams so I can add some panels. I only need to add an inch. The fabric is in 2 layers one chiffon and one georgette so fraying is now an issue. It would have been ok but AF is causing bloating.

Ds1 has gone to a gig (school night :( ) I'm waiting up expecting a call from the bus stop saying he is too tired to wait for the bus.

Transferred some money and booked holiday.

Several of her friends have used a sperm doner. I did ask her once if she considered it herself and she said no. There are far too many babies without parents waiting to be adopted for her to consider that and she wasn't sure she wanted to be pregnant anyway.

One funny story. It just shows how out of touch I am. I tried to get her to have a smear test..... "Mother, I don't need one, ive never had sex" she responded. I went away and looked it up and got back to her. Yes she is indeed low risk but still needed one.

Another funny story.... The first time we went to see my daughter in her flat before she moved to SA. She was living with a boy who we rather hoped was her boyfriend (before she came out). He was camper than camp. The fear on hubbys face when he came near him was phenomenal. I even had to accompany him to the toilet.:D

Finished painting walls and ceiling in DS2's room today, tomorrow need to paint skirting board (its gone horribly yellow) and fireplace and wardrobe doors (built in) these are a matt blank, so re doing them satin, to give them a bit of a sheen.

All ironing completed today and most of it put away.
Further 2 loads of washing and drying.
DS2's room has been hovered, so is considerably clean and tidy, although in middle of being decorated.

Morning all. So lovely reading all the posts to Piggers and the stories of what makes us all so different and interesting.

I live in a village where last night someone posted that they'd had hate mail because they are gay. Just unbelievable. Live and let live, as Piggers said, just be kind (although I find it hard to be kind to the ignorant people). There I've said it.

About to do last nights washing up...I know.....

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

Tossing and turning last night as a bit of a shock revelation about a serious health issue for a very much loved governor was announced at the meeting. My thoughts are with her and her family.

Hugs good wishes and positive vibs too all who need them.
