    Morning everyone.

Just a couple of kitchen things left to do. Some of the living room list done yesterday.

Today I'm at my voluntary job this morning. Then home at lunchtime to get ready and go to town for a talk.

    Welcome to the newbies.

Natty Healing vibes. Sending some of ginger ninjas fat for ninja kitten. He has been practicing his running and gymnastic skills during the night.

    Morning all
Hugs to all that need or want them
In the last month now of waiting for the first grandchild to arrive (DD2 looked huge at the weekend!) can't wait
Busy day today so doubt I'll get much done off the lists.

    Got mils warfarin check
Pick up birthday present for 2yo niece
Pick up a couple more Mother's Day cards
Nip in bank and get my authority off one of the children's bank accounts (now they are 20 I think they should be trusted with their own money!) I'd forgotten it was still on tbh
    Tackle mending pile
    Go to work
    Govs meeting tonight
DS2 has explorers so early tea for him
Will start another baby hat to take Drs with me while in the waiting room as i can knit and chat to mil but hate just sitting it seems like such a waste of time.

    Have a great morning everyone

Hoping for a more successful day today on the flying front.

Same here. Lots of paid stuff and the boiler man is coming this afternoon thank goodness. Just hoping its not too expensive!

Snowing heavens high here - and settling at the moment. If it carries on like this it could be an interesting drive to work.

DH is full of cold. He didnt go to work yesterday because of course he is dying. This meant that I had to cook tea and clear up even though I had been working on both paid jobs. If his arms and legs are still functioning today I will leave him a little list of jobs. Oh I am mean!!!

Right, better get moving. Have a good Tuesday everyone x

Morning all  Another beautiful start to the day here, but I know it's cold out as there was plenty of snow on the South Shropshire hills yesterday. My garden is beginning to look quite colourful and the birds are very busy.

JTTOU, I had been wondering about LW too and was going to ask the same question this morning.
Rubies, good news that the government owes you for theVAT!
mrs-mp, I have got my case packed and the toddler seat in the back of the car, ready to dive up the M42 at a moment's notice.

    This morning I have already
    - tidied the DR
    - broken down 6 large cardboard boxes which were clogging up the utility and loft void, ready for collection by the bin men tomorrow
    - started WM x1 of 2
    - done the dailies
    - run my computer scan

We are off to SW shortly, then I am decluttering most of my hair at 12.15 - probably no.6 all over this time.

    I also aim to
    - ring V1rg1n about my mobile contract (will try and do this before we go out this morning)
    - deliver a birthday card
    - prune the roses, sweep up leaves and generally tidy up in the front garden (continued good weather permitting)
    - write the charity newsletter
    - deal with some emails
    - sort the boxes of bits in the study-bedroom into the new mini-drawer unit
    - sort the papers on my desk and the spare bed (not very many, but they'll just multiply if I leave them)
    - ring DD and DS2

Hope everyone has a good day and that juliejim and DH are soon back on speaking terms! GWS and healing vibes to all poorlies and a "Take it easy" reminder to Natty x

Going to put the washing on the line and then head up to the shower.

LW posted last week and mentioned she was having puter trouble, I think she said they were awaiting a service call or new router? I know she wasn't at home when she posted and said not to worry about her. Hopefully her problems will be fixed soon and she'll be back online.

Iona looking forward to your announcement! I've promised to look after her partners children if needed so DH has saved a days holiday just incase or if not I will be on the first train or taxi I can get if I'm needed. I was sort of hoping I'd be asked to support during labour but she said she'd sooner be on her own and is almost being forced to have partner and midwife with her.

Managed most of this mornings off site flying, nieces pressie bought, Mother's Day cars chosen, two of my accounts merged as one had very little in and they were both with the same bank, it turned out easier to close the account I had for DS1 and get him a cheque rather than faff about transferring it over to him when all he watched to do was put it in another account anyway. Mils warfarin check ok so don't have to go for a couple of weeks. Spoke to the receptionist, they never rang to tell her she had high colestoral they said high blood sugar levels that need monitoring.
Going to grab a cuppa before work and will trickle the mending pile when I get back.

    Hope all are well
CY, I would see if your mum can be dissuaded from the implants its a lot to take on at her age pain and expense wise.
Re the driving also a worry, my dad is in early stages of altzimers and step mum has to just hide the car keys and do all the driving, we had a major sca a few years ago when she was in hospital and he got lost in the car and ended up doing loops of the city all night - he was spotted on cctv by the police. When he finally came home he said he'd been to Nottingham to price a job. He retired over 10 years ago!!!! It scares me to think what might have happened

Why is it everything takes money and time?
I still haven't got the girls room decorated but that's due to their messiness :( but I've started compiling a list of other jobs that need doing. Firstly sorting the holes in next doors fence  (yes same neighbour). They were meant to sort it but their dog is still getting in. They have 2 dogs, one is fine with our dog as it's older. The other normally plays with her but yesterday he was growling at her so much that my other neighbour came out to see what was happening. I was out but DD2 was here and got ours in quick. I am very wary of it as it killed another little dog they had
DD1 said she'd help me and get the boyfriend too at the weekend.

Off to have my hair cut now, don't like having it done as I always think I look silly :o all due to a BAD perm and cut when I was a kid :(

Decorating has finally commenced, half way through base coat in DS2's room. It's currently plain white, and he want white with UV paint random stripes on it, so just freshening the white, and giving ceiling a quick lick too.

DD put a load of darks in for me earlier, so just been to get them to put out to dry, and she's washed my black leather skirt, that has been in the laundry basket since before Christmas, ready to take the dry cleaners!! Luckily its turned out fine, so that's saved me a few pound haha.

Right that's my break over, back to painting, catch up with everyone later.

Hugs to everyone to wants or needs, smiles for all, please pass on :)
Loving life to the full, just need purse full too :)
