I was away half term week and had no internet last week but I am back in this week. I really need to be as my motivation seriously disappeared last week. I need this thread to keep my GUAG from leaving. Thanks for all the lists.

I tackled the kitchen cupboards today and have sorted three out of five boxes. I have given OH strict instructions to keep them tidy and not to just throw anything and everything into the cupboard - we'll see how long that lasts!

    Apart from that I have

Taken the dog for a walk
    Done paid stuff x 2
    WM/TD/DW all on
saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
    £60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j

Lynne the consultant has given me a physio referral form to take to my local clinic..which I shall take tomorrow while I’m at therapy. Hopefully an appointment won’t take too long to come through.
Welcome to all the newbies…we are a lovely group. You’ll be totally supported here :D

Well haven’t done any of what I was planning to do – i.e. clean out my cutlery drawer while relaxing on the sofa. I did manage to iron DH’s shirts for the next couple of days so that’s something I suppose. Oh and I had a lovely cup of tea with my neighbor friend while dropping off her parcels that the postie delivered this morning. And we caught up with all the gossip and put the worlds to right :D

I now have sleepy NinjaKitten curled up next to me on the sofa, he’s had his dinner and is now feeling full and very sleepy. Although come later this evening he’ll be bombing around the living room and stairs like a mad thing :D

Finished shredding and very sociable it was too - the area I was working on is on the boundary with the neighbours; the husband cut an old stump for us yesterday so he and I were clearing our respective sides around it; his wife brought us out coffee just as Mr N came home from work and joined in shredding! That bit of the garden looks a whole lot better but loads more tidying to do. Mr N & I had a stroll around; we try to do that every day especially in spring as it's so nice seeing plants starting to come up.

We've just decluttered 4 old photo albums (30+ years) of ski holidays, just keeping a few from each one to put into one album. Hard to chuck photos but they were pretty grotty - old small camera so everyone was a dot in the distance or crashed in a heap. Lots more aged photo albums to sort through but that's given us the incentive. Shelf space is appearing!

Zumba tomorrow then irritatingly just one student. I don't seem to have much work this week, so will do the drive just for one as it will be some money.

Thank-you everyone for the warm welcome!

Is it silly that I was so proud of my tidy cupboards that I felt the need to take a photo and send it to my sister?!

No not all! You are allowed to be chuffed with yourself. I get annoyed with OH when he comes home from work and hasn't noticed my achievements!

Managed to dust, polish & hoover playroom, so pleased with that, and did lounge too, so tomorrow, will do stairs and landing (I don't have a hallway) and back porch, which hopefully won't take long, so I can crack on with decorating.

    Hiya everyone

Thanks HB - I suppose I shouldn't have taken any notice but there you go. I think it's worse when you think you're being helpful eh.

    Brilliant :T
When I tore the ligaments in my foot I had physio and, although it hurt doing it, I was so pleased afterwards. You have all my sympathies as I was on crutches for nearly six months but now I just get the odd twinge when I do too much.

If it's gone I've done it or don't have one

    Morning All

Well yesterday I only did washing and 2 x HHIs as I went to a funeral in the afternoon. I've cleaned the main cupboard in the bathroom this morning - I was avoiding DH as we're not speaking!

    Have a good day all

    Morning all

Hoping for a more successful day today on the flying front.

DS3 appears to be quite a bit better so he should be going to school.

    Initial list:
    Ironing
    File paperwork from yesterday
[STRIKE]15 minutes tidying and putting away
    Empty bins[/STRIKE]
    Wipe kitchen sides
    [STRIKE]Wash bra
    Clean kitchen sink[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]S&S bathroom and shower room[/STRIKE]
Meal plan, shopping list, go shopping

    If I get time:
    Check DS1 bank accounts
    Sort out switching electricity supplier
Think of birthday presents for DS1
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

Morning everyone and welcome to newbies.

I know exactly what you mean Lynne - that is always happening to me! I try to be caring and helpful and then get ignored and I must admit things do "fester"- hence the not sleeping. Trying my meditation again to sort it - as there are more important things in life.

Has anyone heard from LW please - haven't caught back up on the thread properly -so hugs sticks and spoons for anyone needing them.

Hope your Mum is a bit better Dusty.

Take care and have a good day.x
