Morning flyfriends
Piggers and Judi hugs to you both and thank you for sharing your feelings with us. You are both wonderful parents but of course that doesn't mean you don't have your own emotions to deal wtih. As the generations pass I hope we are becoming more accepting of just how unique we all are.
Need to try harder with the flying today so off to the shower and then I will not allow myself back on here until after 10:30 as I am back to 'wasting' so much time online.
ETA: Dotty grab a bin bag, dance around the house filling it with rubbish, if this doesn't apply to you try the same for a charity shop bag.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Me again, No flying done except the washing up. Been in the gym and seem to have lost 3lbs since Sunday.
Dotty, Piggers, tin of shortbread on their way to DD and DS. I will use the other tin for occasional treat only. The rest of my diet is pretty good stuff, I just like a lot of it and tend to graze at my desk.
Right, off to docs then paid stuff.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

dotty I think the best I will ever achieve is organised clutter! We simply have too much stuff! And I live with a family that won't let go of things.
My Dh has his dad's broken mower in the shed that he can't get rid of simply because it was his dad's, I've gently explained that his memories and his love for his dad is not attached to that mower or any other material item. I loved his dad and I love his mum but when the enviable happens I do not relish their whole bungalow of stuff being crammed into our house. That's if he can let the bungalow ( his childhood home go!) we have five kids worth of stuff collected over 30+ years and not all of it has homes so it gets moved around the house instead of being dealt with. It has been finally agreed with mil and DH that this spring we can clear the old paint tins out of their garage, fil passed away over 4 years ago and retired from painting and decorating almost 20 years ago and the garage still has all his old now congealed past it tins of paint in there "just incase"
Last month I said if we don't deal with some stuff soon we will end up on one of those hoarder programmes, DS1 said we can still see out of the windows can't we so I think you are over exaggerating
It was actually a huge achievement that it was DH who suggested moving the desk out of the house and has conceded that I can deal with things that are rubbish but he did say he will have a look throguh just in case I'm binning anything useful that could go up in the attic just incase.
I've just opened a sideboard drawer and we have 36 pairs of those free 3D glasses you get from cinemas and 24 different packs of assorted card games!!!
I may be some time but I think some stuff will disappear into a charity bag or bin bag before DHs or Ds1 get a look though;)SPC~12 ot 124

Not in a great mood this morning
It was so cold upstairs last night that I left the heating on which ended up not being a good idea, I ended up too hot and kept waking up. DD1 said the same this morning so I won't be doing that again.
I took DD1 to work and when I got home started getting texts from DD2 (she says at my parents Tuesday nights) asking for me to take her to school. I know it's selfish of me but I don't want to do it. The traffics always a nightmare, there's never anywhere to safely stop and to be honest it's probably quicker for her to walk anyway. It's little things like this that start my panic attacks and anxiety off.
I ended up phoning my mum and asking what the problem was. Works out there is no problem she just doesn't want to walk  Ended up with my mum giving her a lecture on how far she walked to school as a kid, how I walked etc. and that I wasn't taking her. Of course now I feel terribleI know I take DD1 but that's only because of the location of the nursery, it's in the middle of nowhere. There is no path, no street lighting and has overhanging trees both sides and people use the road like a race track.
DD2 has been given full funding to do a course with the National Citizen Service (you might have seen the ads on tv) She's very excited about it. It seems it'll be taking up half her summer holiday, she'll be going away for 2 weeks of it so hopefully it'll be a great experience and it'll stop her whinging she's bored all the time. Plus it all goes on her c.v when she get's one (they do that on the course too!)
I had my hair cut yesterday, it's alot better though the fringe is still a little long so I might have to have a chop at that later (I did study hairdressing, I do know what I'm doing eventhough I'm not great at it lol) I hate my hair, it's fine but I have a lot of it and it's dead straight and won't hold any type of curlThat reminds me I really need to get round to cutting and perming my mums.
My laptop hates me again today and won't let me copy n paste the lists to the word processor (same yesterday) so I've had to open two pages so I can see the lists and the posts
Lots to do so must get on and I need to remember to collect prescriptions, go to the post office and collect DD1's boyfriend from college (long story)

Morning all,
I don't usually post feelings and stuff on this thread but I just had to step in last night in support of dear Pigpen. We can only do what we think is right. What is right for one person may not necessarily right for another person. We are all individuals, all families are unique too. We all make mistakes. Ive made loads but the biggest mistakes ive made have been when I am unable to spend time by myself to think things through. Rash decisions rarely come out well. Ive made a few rash decisions and there have been times when ive not held my ground but I'm normal. I'm flawed. I hope your son has a wonderful birthday Pigpen... Just enjoy him as he is. Don't look at his gender.
Jobs for me today:

Wrk main job for the next 5 days, you know I really could do with 1 day off a week, so I can clean / garden at my lesiure rather than rushing around like a mad thing, having worked 7 days a week for the last 5 years I think (except when I go on hols) I really am starting to feel worn out....................even my ebying has fallen to the way side, but then again there isn't much left to sell.

Aww. Flyladies are fab xxx
My kitchen is a tip but to be fair if I spent 10min loading the DE and putting a liner in the bin that would sort the worst out, but I'm focussing on paid stuff first.
Miss Moo has gone to nursery as supergirl, bless her. Kiddies both chirpy this morning and got dressed nicely. I was a grump. DD had me up twice in the night and I've had to wash all DS bedding this morning including the duvet. He was wearing a pull-up  Duvet is in the airing cupboard with heating on low in the hope it will dry out by tonight. If not we'll pinch the one from the spare bed.
Feels like the house is upside down at the mo, but I think it's my head that needs shaking xBossymoo
