Been working on my bedroom, making slow progress :( Made the bed, found most of the floor but not enough to hoover yet. Filed some paperwork, throw away a carriers worth of carp and about the same in paper recycle. I have real trouble with throwing away :o I've just shredded a pile of letters from people I no longer write to but I found it really hard :o It makes me feel guilty.
I'm hoping DD1 will help me go through some more stuff this evening. It's all tidy in boxes under the bed but I know it's there, I can feel it if you get what I mean lol.
I've stopped for a bite of lunch, then I'll quickly tidy the front room before I go and collect DD1's boyfriend in an hour. I've also just brought DD2 some beautiful prom shoes via the bay of E :D Very pleased and will go so well with the dress we want to get. Need to sort the measurements for that as it's coming from America.
    Right onwards and upwards . . .

Bother, Mum back in hospital with suspected heart failure now. Her neighbour is with her and has been brilliant, waiting for test results.

Have been flying, hoovering done, 2 loads of washing on the line. Off to dust, file and iron next. Limiting my time on here is good.

    Yep no slacking! ;)

Just heard an almighty bang outside to find me wheelie bin shooting past me and down the steps to the garden. Luckily everything is in bags but ive had to lug it back up the steps. These winds are terrible. Ive had to lock my side gate as the wind keeps lifting it off its latch. I thought it was safe to do so as we hadn't had any mail and it was gone 1.30.... so there I was lugging the wheelie bin up the steps when someone started hammering on the gate.... Postie.

Dusty thinking of your Mom. I hope she is better soon.:)

Sorry to hear about your mum, Dusty - I hope her heart settles down soon. "Bother" is a very restrained reaction on your part! What a kind neighbour she has :)

Today I have got totally bogged down in writing our 2-page newsletter. My GUAG has gone missing again.

I need to do some shopping later. Where does all the food go in this household of two? Got some T€$c0 vouchers in the post today, which will help a bit.
