Thanks for all your kind birthday wishes - I have had a lovely day. Great lunch and then chilling at home. Just had a bath so the order of the day is some TV and then bed! Goodness I know how to live!

Hope all of you are having a good day - sticks and spoons and the karma tank on their way to all who need. See you on the new thread.

Happy birthday CY, I hope you've had a lovely day.

DD2 and fella have gone home, me and DH did a bit of decluttering in his clothes drawers, then I decluttered some Jiffy bags and folded the carrier bags up. Going down the bottle bank once the thing about building the London tube system has finished. Then a bit of knitting while top gear is on I think.

My list is nearly all done and it is Gilly 3.5, BD 0.5

    All that is left is

Put up blind, need DH to put it up tomorrow when I have exchanged for the right size
    Pack and post eBay parcel
Spend some time in the garden, DH persuaded me to share a [STRIKE]glass [/STRIKE] bottle of wine after walking the dog to the pub.

    In other news

I could not return curtains to The Range as packaging missing but a friend is going to alter them to correct length and then I will get some nice tiebacks.

Paint in DS bedroom has fully dried and it is not that different, so think DS will be okay with it. to be honest will probably be last thing on his mind and don't think he will notice as although their plane landed at 13:17 they are still not home as his GF was 999'd from the plane to hospital with suspected appendicitis:( , but she is now being discharged. She is gluten intolerant and waiting a formal diagnosis of coeliac so I strongly suspect she has unwittingly had some gluten.

My Godmother passed away last night, aged 80+, not quite sure how old. We weren't that close anymore but she was one of the last links to my Mum who passed away when I was 7 :(:(:(

I hope everyone else has had a happier Sunday

    Best wishes Gilly x

Gilly hugs for you on your godmother's loss and I hope GF is ok, is she having biopsies coeliac?

    Washing up done
    DW emptied
Going to set WM and head up to bed to read (probably for 10 minutes as I'm cream crackered)
