    Me again, washing up done, some drying up done, one and only washload in machine and upstairs bin emptied. I am actually dressed, have made an important phone call, remembered to text a relative and am just having a cuppa before the taking the dogs for a loooong walk.

  • Hello............Skinty is back in from the cold!

    22nd December 2014, I have never been MIA for so long.........someone is going to have to give me a concise version of all the flylady news that I have missed. If I read back that far it will be the end of next weeks thread and I still won't have the Skint Pitz sorted!

    Right.......where is the listy! I will be back at 12 to get what I have done already crossed off and what I am going to crack on with now

    Morning all!

    So far - washing done and hanging out to dry and shopping done.

    Today will mostly be spent packing :D I will be away from tomorrow morning until Wednesday so won't appear on the new thread until at least then (not that I appear much in the week anyway :o)

    juliejim - don't forget pass the parcel :D: Enjoy the party and I hope things are better at home xx

    Welcome to the newbies :D

    ETA - welcome back Skinty :D

    :wave: Welcome back Skinty , it's great to see you :j All your old FlyFriends are still here - some of us a bit more battered and frazzled than others, but we're still here :)

    LW, lynnejk and froddy, enjoy your breaks from flying. Froddy, I suspect that yours is work related rather then a holiday.

    Can't find phone charger: it's not in my suitcase :( Loose on the back seat of the car, maybe?
    DD is presumably out, as she's not answering the home phone :(
    Have moved a large folder of family history papers from my filing cabinet to a box in the cupboard next to the other genealogy printouts, to be sorted later; the filing cabinet drawer now shuts properly :D
    QHI done
    DH sent to town and tip with a load of stuff out of his man cave
    About to start my 10 min flying upstairs :cool:

    Then :coffee: before I venture into the jungle. Anyone care to join me at 11.50?

    Hello again. Dog walk done although we'll be going out again soon. Have had a long overdue chat on the phone with friend, still need to call another one, just having a quick lunch. Eventually I will get out in the jungle with all of you!

    Hi skinty, I am sure there must have been something important that you have missed but I cant think of it. Just all the usually daily ups and downs, unless someone corrects me. Welcome home.

    Well I have lost my motivation. Completely. I have been out and swept the patio and tidied up outside and have just put the 3rd load of washing in. Maybe a dog walk will stir me into action. I dont want to work so I am avoiding the office.

    Come on someone - kick my backside into gear.

    Bit of both - Battlefields Tour (Iepers and The Somme) for 3 nights / 4 days. Myself and a TA with 2 students as part of a larger group from schools in Hampshire / Surrey.

    Really should start packing ........................

    Hi skinty,Welcome home.

    Thank you, it's good to be home.....I want everyone to know I thought of you all often, but it has been a very very weird few months.

    I aim to be back to my regular quirky self with little things to make you all smile as soon as possible

    Right, I did get a few things done, but not as much as I had hoped.

    Decrumbed the toaster.

    Gave the sink a good bleach bubble bath

    Swept the kitchen floor

    Hoover the hallway and computer room

    removed the floordrobes from each room

    main bathroom had a a good clean round and empty bottles junked

    bin bag dance 2 big black bin liners (for shame :o )

    swept the stairs

    tidied my bedroom (DS old room - I have left the pit of despair behind me!) wiped the walls and paintwork in there.

    tidied DD4 room, removed broken toys and baby-ish toys

    cleared the floor of DD3 room (my old pit of despair) of half a ton of crockery and an assortment of nasty bits from under the bed, ready to hoover and then wash the carpet, the mattress.......yuck!

    Right, I should really think of finishing off hoovering downstairs.

    I did try and start painting my LR 4 weeks ago, but it has just been left so once the rest of the house is on its way, then I will get that finished off

    Right, going to have a nap, it's been a hard graft start!

    Hi everyone :j, a long time lurker here! I don't always post but I always check by here for a little inspiration to get my butt into gear.

    Hubby is at work today and I have a list as long as my arm to get on with:

    * Tidy living room/kitchen
    * Tons of clothes washing :mad:
    * Dust/polish
    * Vaccum living room/dining room/kitchen/stairs/bedroom
    * Deep clean kitchen
    * Change bedding

    Wish me luck!
