Haha. I was scratching my head and couldn't for the life of me think what you meant :rotfl:

Four loads of washing done today and most of it TD, rest on hangers over the heater ;) So the dreaded hot tool will have to be employed the morrow to flatten the creases before packing the stuff and putting all the creases back in :(

Need to double-check all the bookings and print out all the tickets/maps/accommodations etc in the morning. Will also check the bank accounts and ccs and move monies if necessary.

Will have to go to the town to get DH's shoes from the cobblers, some more euros and a new case lock (one doesn't work ). Then I'll be doing the packing the morrow evening.

We are going out for a pub lunch on Sunday so I can have an easier day as want to leave all clean and tidy, make up some rolls and sort fridge etc.

Then we are off at about 5.00am on Monday.

((hugs)) sticks and spoons for anyone needing some and hope you all have a super Saturday.

Hope you are feeling much better pigpen
Hugs good wishes and posi vibes to all who need/want them
Ds1 back from London, didn't hear him come in so will let him sleep. He got invited to support a gig at short notice so grabbed his guitar and jumped on a train yesterday morning - I'll find out later how it went.
Really pleased wig last weeks decluttering efforts, the lounge looks so much better, and once the 8 bags earmarked for other people or Cs have gone the spare bedroom will look better as well. Still got a heck of a way to go but it's all in the right direction ---- out the door.

    Happy birthday to Dusty's DS.

Happy hols and packing Lynne - where are you going I must have missed your post?

Had a relatively productive day yesterday as DH had to work late to cover phones. Kitchen sort of done including floor and bathroom done too and floor! That is a total result.
Today we are hoping for sunshine to get in the garage to clear it and the garden. Fingers crossed.

    Have a great day everyone.

Happy holidays Lynne and so exciting for LW too. We are camping at easter, which is not on the same level, and it may actually be freezing, but it will be an adventure.

I really wanted to tackle two things today:
1 - the airing cupboard and storage chest on the landing
2 - the pile of papers, mostly belonging to DH, in the office

I actually dont feel in the mood to do either of them at the moment but will try and spur myself into action later. I also should do a couple of hours on job no. 2 and seeing as its a nice day there is laundry to be done.

Will have a cup of tea first and move myself slowly into gear.

Oh and finances to look at - forgot that.

Happy Birthday to Dusty's DS1 and juliejim's grandma

Glad you're feeling better, bossy - do take it easy today.

    Welcome to The Only Girl.

I have emptied the shredder bin and waste paper bin again - got rid of a huge amount of rubbish in the past couple of days, and feel much better for it.

If anyone wants to declutter old spectacles (adults' or children's) this charity has collection points at opticians around the UK. I now have space in another drawer.

    Plan for today:
    - remember to get my phone charger out of my suitcase (which is in the car) before DH drives off to town
    - ring DD
    - set timer for 10 minutes and finish upstairs flying
    - 5 minutes' ironing (only 2 shirts and a tea towel)
    - potter in the garden: it would be good if I could weed one short border
    - visit my friend for an hour this afternoon
    - relax with DH and a roast dinner this evening

Hope everyone has a good weekend x
