Both kids get a mix of grant/loan anyway, as his income doesn't count. Neither have jobs, but not for the want of trying...

I just think it's hysterical he now thinks they might choose to go and live at his...

    anyhooo

I have washed the litter trays and had a freezer-tidying session for my wombled sprouts (they were right on the top of the veg skip, as were the limes :rotfl: and THEY have skins anyway - I now realise exactly why I keep seeing people rooting through the skip).

I shall go and iron now.

Have zoomed through kids rooms so they are in a fit state to be hoovered at an unspecified time in the future :rotfl:

Decluttered a tin of brambkes from the garden this afternoon only to discover that the green bin hadn't been emptied the week before last, dh had just wheeled it back in full!!! So that has curtailed my gardening :mad::mad: I'm now going to have to endure phoning the council on Monday to make sure I'm on the list for green waste having paid £33 extra for it

Tomorrow And next Sunday i am on a sewing workshop at Guthrie and ghani of great British sewing bee fame 2 series ago. It's my Xmas pressie from dh and I'm really looking forward to it! I just need to iron the fabric I'm going to be using as I have prewashed it.

Hi all, I managed to do a couple of hours paid stuff so I am quite pleased. Lots of washing done, dried and ready to put away. Curry made and eaten for tea and I have had a cuppa with my neighbour who is off work ill. Not a bad day but I am tired, hope I am not getting this cold that the rest of the family have had.

Fire lit, feet up and telly on now.

I'm not going to argue it Piggers. He seems to think he's off the hook. He does, at least, give them some directly for their phones, I believe.

I have just thawed what I thought was chilli for my tea. Well it wasn't. it was nice, a bit spicy and had courgette in and it went with the rice but even,. having eaten it, I have no clue what it was. There's a 13 month old burger defrosting which I shall lob at the moggies, when I have nuke dit :rotfl: have trimmed sprouts...there are lots...

Valli.. they'll just have to learn to go round and ask.. needing money for certain things if he gives it directly to them he won't be able to claim he is paying your bills ;) I keep the money from KH in the bank for the children for Christmas presents.. though he still tells everyone he pays for the house and gives me loads of money!

Valli- well done on the weight loss!
Elastic- I'm loving the idea of hiding the wine bottle ;)

Bil and fil have been round. They stayed for dinner and left at 9.30. Bless them. They both live in their own and I think they are both lonely. I missed the voice but never mind.

This afternoon I have been on window cleaning duty. My worst job apart from cleaning the oven!

    Updated list...
    Strip some neglected sticky bedding
Dust anything you've missed during the week
Wipe paintwork in a room you haven't done in a while

    Wipe light switches
Sort through a drawer or cupboard
Straighten a bookcase..the books not the actual bookcase!!
    Clean ds1s windows
    Cut the lawn!

    Hi Skinty
Well done on the weight loss Valli I've very envious although I have no-one to blame but myself. Well I could blame Mr N as while he was ill I've got into the habit of snacking with him, slobbing in front of TV and doing less gym........but it would be mean to blame him!

Today we've done a lot in the garden, almost filled green bin plus 2 large (horse feed sacks) bags. I've transplanted a few things to new homes where they will hopefully do better.
I gave kitchens sinks a really good clean and wiped down all cupboards and appliances.
    DW done and put away.
Sainsb0bs visited for food and diesel.
    Dinner cooked.
I ironed 3 T shirts - Mr N is chief ironer so he did all his shirts (ha, that'll teach him to go back to work).
Mr N took his motor bike out for a ride for the first time since his op; needless to say I was poised by the phone timing him! But no problems.

Tomorrow is church am and friends round for cheese&biscuits and cake in the evening, so the in between time will be gardening, weather permitting, and cake making.
Various other odds & ends to do for work on Monday.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

    Hiya everyone :hello:

Welcome back Skinty and Frodders :D
Hope you have a super cruise LW. I love cruising

Happy hols and packing Lynne - where are you going I must have missed your post?
We are doing a little tour.
Fly Edinburgh to Milan (2 days)
    train to Florence (3 days)
    train to Naples (4 days)
train and boat/train to Sicily (2 days)
fly to Malta for 7 days.
We fly back direct to Edinburgh.

I've booked it all on-line separately so fingers xd it all works. I'm excited but a little worried all at the same time :rotfl:
Yup loads on youtube. Some on her emails too but I haven't had time to watch those yet.
Re the Flylady thingie - I find the support, help and friendship on here is just perfect for me and wouldn't want to have emails cluttering up my inbox which I have just de-cluttered ;)

Did a bit of shopping and DH treated me to a new pair of shoes Unfortunately I seem to have decluttered a pair of shoes I wanted to keep and have kept a pair I didn't want to keep. Think I was getting a bit carried away (or should be) :rotfl:

Then had a 'mare for about an hour as couldn't get the new 'all singing and dancing wifi etc' printer working to copy out all our holiday bookings. DH eventually sorted thank goodness whilst I went to cook dinner

All my clothes etc out in guest room ready to pack and ironing done. Just DH to put rest of his out the morrow and the fridge to sort. My opposite neighbour always keeps an eye on the place when we are away, checking the post through etc, and I always give them the things out fridge such as milk and any eggs and veggies left so they don't get wasted :)

Hope you all have a super Sunday - blowing a hooley here atm - and ((hugs) sticks and spoons if you need some
