    Howdy :)

Very peaceful here although expecting the beasties back I. Half an hour :D

Might do a HHC upstairs with a bit of vaccing. I have a laundry room thing going on in the DR and we are having a simple tea. Although I've not had lunch yet... Making chicken and sweetcorn soup.

Done a spot of shopping - used some SW vouchers at Iceland as I had a bit of room in freezer, plus treat myself to some nice teas at Mr T. Also got mum a birthday pressie - 60 next week. Must remember to give FIL the Mother's Day card for MIL so he can stash in their suitcase.

Right - I guess I'll move myself... Need to strip my bed too. Will endeavour (again) to clean bathrooms upstairs while littlies are dunked tonight. Did downstairs loo last night.

I'm on here because the hoover has died mid way doing the house. I'm hoping its just hot and not used to being used so much. Giving it a few minutes to cool down maybe.

Raining here now so I'll not get out in the garden today. Have that hotspot in the kitchen to clear and some toiletries to sort out too.

Also planning a no TV or newspaper evening as need to actually speak to DH sometimes.

I've cut my grass back and front, and next door neighbours and prunned about 8 foot off their buddleia and also their apple trees. I am now exhausted (and a bit battered as a branch hit me in the face). Worth the £20 I'll get plus my trees will now have alot more light.

Energy comparisons next as my fix is about to end.

I read that as you were claiming £20 off your neighbours for getting hit then dusty, I've reread now and it makes perfect sense. Hope you are ok and not going to be bruised.

Electricity switch done. DD should go down by about £4 a month, not lots as I keep on top of it but better than it going up.

    Banking next.

Re the Flylady thingie - I find the support, help and friendship on here is just perfect for me and wouldn't want to have emails cluttering up my inbox which I have just de-cluttered ;)
I agree.:o Also, I will not be nagged into wearing any sort of shoes indoors, let alone lace-up ones!:D

We've started packing our cases; it's Tetris on a grand scale!:D I've also completely caught up with the washing, and I've told Mr LW to not wear anything he wants to take with him, now.

I think it was Narc0 asked where we're going.... start at London Tilbury; Invergordon, Scotland; Lerwick, Shetland Isles (we can't go ashore there as it's not suitable for mobility impaired folks); then view the Total Eclipse; Reykjavik, Iceland (we're booked to visit the Blue Lagoon); Torshavn, Faroe Islands; then return to Tilbury. With several days At Sea in between the ports of call.

Hoping Lynne and Froddy have lovely holidays.:o

I'll be around (all being well) this week; I want to give the whole bungalow a once-over before we go.:o

I wish I was going on holiday instead of paid stuff. But be careful what you wish for I suppose with all the redundancies going on. All you who are going, have fun.

The hoover is dead so another one is on it's way. I was only thinking earlier that I had £0 on the arg0s account! It's something I can't manage without for even a day with the ageing collie.

I sorted out the kitchen hotspots and sorted the toiletries and decluttered a couple of bits. Didn't find what I was looking for though so more £s will have to be spent.

Happy Birthday cyclingyorkie! Hope you didn't have much ironing to spoil your day and that the tinnitus clears up soon.

It has poured with rain here too today so no chance of getting out in the garden. DH wanted to go to a wargames show this afternoon in the nearby city where I used to live before I became a flylady, so I dropped him off, went and bought some big sheets of craft card and then went to drink tea and chat with an elderly friend for an hour and meet her new dog. Much news decluttered :)

Will do some paper sorting and culling for half an hour now, then go and cook tea and sit down to watch CTM, including the episode we missed while we were away.

No sign of DGC6 yet. My mobile started ringing while I was out, but it was a false alarm. And breathe...
