    Has this worked?

    Obviously not

Can't work out why I can't copy the link from photo bucket but I was trying to show you the baby blanket I knitted following the pattern pigpen used and kindly lent me. I've managed to put it in the Flickr account for the 15 in 15 thread but can't get it to show on mse for some reason.

    Good Morning,

I am up and at it, early this morning considering I did not sit down till 930 last night.

I am continuing with my 4 day plan, which is going quite well

    Kitchen and Dining Room
    Sweep and mop the floor
Wipe the worktops, removing everything that shouldn't be there
Wipe the inside of the fridge and see what needs using up
Run appliances through a clean cycle.. clean filters, drawers and doorseals first!
    Empty and wash out bins

Living Rooms, Reception Rooms, Hallway and Stairs
    Declutter and vacuum floors
    Hoover stairs
    [STRIKE]Check smoke alarms[/STRIKE]
Vacuum sofa and chair cushions, including underneath them.
    Dust and deweb
    [STRIKE]Update finances spreadsheets
Catch up on any important phonecalls and make any upcoming appointments.[/STRIKE]

    Master bedroom and Landing
[STRIKE]Strip, wash and replace the bedding[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Hoover floor in bedroom and on landing[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Do your pillows need replacing? [/STRIKE] Need to buy 4
Dust surfaces and make sure no cobwebs
[STRIKE]Wash windows and turn mattress before replacing with bedlinen[/STRIKE]
Sort one area of clothes or linen storage, make sure only what should be in there is. Anything that has had it’s day or doesn’t belong there remove it.
Sort through a bag or box of stuff you’ve not looked at in months. I am certain there will be stuff in there that you don’t need – I know I have some.

    [STRIKE]Bathroom, WC and Study[/STRIKE]

Paint DS's bedroom, just a freshen up 2 walls done
Buy and put up blind Blind bought, need DH to put it up
    Steam clean carpet Done
    Rebuild bedroom, make bed

As yesterday, if it is crossed out it is done

Have a good day, another good drying day here. I already have two loads out and another load in the WM.

Lawn people are coming today to spring treat the garden. It seems extravagant, but doing it ourselves it never looked so good and over the year only works out about £10 more and no need to store various seasonal feeds etc., so we consider it a win, win situation.

I also need to pop out to get some bits to finish DS's bedroom. A robe hook (in the vague hope that when his GF stays she will hang it up) and a door stop so that the door handle does not undo my hard work.

They are home on Sunday, of course the big question is will he even notice that his bedroom has been decorated :rotfl:

I am off now to start round 2 with the BD and the list. I definitely won round 1.

    Have a good day all.

    Well done gilly :T

    Carried forward from yesterday:
    - start up bargain magazine subscription (bought from @m@z0n Local Deals) for DGS1+2 instead of buying them Easter eggs
    - replace toothbrushes (now that I've bought new ones :D)
    - dust and hoover upstairs

I have already made minor changes to our charity newsletter, as suggested by my colleague, and sent it out.

    Also to be done today:
    - replce batteries n keyboard which keeps mssing letters, as in his sentence!
    - filing more papers that have accumulated on my desk during the week
    - rearrange things in the study cupboard to make space for family history ring binders
    - go out with DH this afternoon

    Need breakfast first ;)

Hugs all round, with a huge reciprocal hug to mrs-mp - thanks to all of you for keeping me going! x

  • Morning everyone - I'm late but I have had breakfast and walked to town to do my mini week's shop! Only needed milk, two veggies and butter. Picked up some ham as well as it was such a small shop. Now eating fruit and having a hot drink as it is still so cold.

Need to ring D sis and then crack on. Not sure what I am doing first.

Hugs sticks spoons and gws vibes as appropriate. x

Morning all. Having a quick :coffee: after the dentist.
Choice now: gym or garden? I choose garden.
Had a half-hearted wipe of the kitchen surface while kettle was boiling and a shower of crumbs (the invisible kind that you don't see till they ping into the air) flew off so now the floor needs sweeping. Sigh.
    WM on.
Checked my church reading for Sun; no unpronounceable names fortunately.
    Day's plan interspersed with garden:
    - post item sold on eb0y (could this be a way of decluttering old rock concert programmes? Just under £10 for a 1987 Queen programme; beats recycling).
    - check cc bill
    - email friend we're planning to go to Gardener's World Live with
    - order GWL tickets if she's still going on same day
    - check accommodation for GWL in next 3 days while cashback site has 11% off
    - sort out electronic access to premium bonds
    - check details of Open Garden Squares in June from recent email (if anyone is nearish to London and likes gardens, it's a great experience as they open lots of hotel gardens, private squares, rooftop gardens etc)
    - anything round the house that looks dirty :D

I'll join you and see if I can finish off a few miscellaneous 'bits' before tackling the garden.
