Just having lunch with my little man. Have made a slowcooker chilli which is now cooking nicely and cleaned out some Freddie cupboards. The cupboards in the utility room haven't been cleaned out since we moved here lost 7 years ago
There is so much c**p! Curtain hooks, candles, flower food sachets etc! Stuff that I thought might come in useful! I haven't used them and now thinking am I ever likely too?
It doesn't make the house look any neater but at least it will help when/if we move!

    Hi all

Sounds like you're all busy! DD and I went to the dentist this morning. He told her she was very good and she had all the right teeth so she was allowed a rummage in the sticker tub :) I was also told I was good and my teeth are fine, but my routine x-Ray showed up a small gap above my crown (which must be nearly 20yrs old!) so he said he'll have to take it off and re-do it. Yikes. That's about £200!

Also got some shopping in, and done a couple of hours paid stuff while DD had some lunch and watched a film.

Feel better than I did yesterday, thank heavens. MIL called to see if I was ok and said she will come and sort the washing etc if I need a rest :A I declined as she's coming over tomorrow to have the littlies while I'm at hosp which will be enforced rest anyway. I can manage for another day. I might leave the ironing though.

Shoe shopping after school, we'll get the kids some tea while we are out (I'm fasting now, although I can have drinks until 6am) then off to beavers.

Don't quite know what to do with myself now.

Catching up at uni as 1pm student had timetable change and can't come.
This morning abandoned gym in favour of digging out unwanted Berberis shrub from front garden; pruned it to the ground a couple of weeks ago but hadn't got round to digging the blighter up. Probably used more calories than Body Balance anyway, and have swimming stuff in car just in case I can muster the enthusiasm on way home.

One load washing done and hung out.
    Bedroom floordrobe tidied somewhat.
    Few emails decluttered.
    Er.....is that all? Gulp.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

I have a special basket in my bedroom for any single socks. They go straight in, no searching for partners. Then every now and then I just tip up the basket, find any pairs and put the rest back in the basket. Simples. If I recognise any persistent singletons after several 'rounds', in the bin they go. Of course I usually find their match the week after.

    Not a bad idea......think I'll be getting/making a sock basket!

    The list...

Mystical Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Room
    Basic Flying...
    Sweep and mop the floor
Wipe the worktops, removing everything that shouldn't be there
Dishes!! Although such is life, this is never ‘done’!
    Deep Cleaning...
Scrub manky marks off walls and tiles
Empty bins (still need to do recycling mountain)
    Decluttering...
Empty and clean out food cupboards, make inventory so you know what you don't need to buy!!
Clean out the cupboard with the miscellaneous items!

Have sorted out the airing cupboard! Didn't really throw anything away but it looks so much better! I am aware we have too many towels- will sort some out at some point to go to rescue centre or something.
    Have also tidied the hallway.
I am being very indecisive today as there are some jobs that I know that if I do now I will have to redo before the viewing ie hoovering! But there are still plenty of other things to do!

Just having a cuppa then picking up ds1 from school and taking him to his swimming lesson. I will update my list later.

I used to have a child's pillowcase but found it held too many, I've got mine in the bottom of the laundry basket, might look out one of the spare draw string backpacks to put them in so they are tidy.

Sounds a good plan elastic. Enjoy your 'me' time.

Catching up on a few emails and puter stuff, and just had a couple of phone calls to deal with. Tempted to get my stitching out but if I do I'll still be stitching at 6pm and nothing will get done

Amount achieved today....A BIG FAT ZERO. :D
Same here; but I do have something of an excuse.
Saw the consultant earlier, and he's given me a cortisone injection in my right shoulder, and I now have to not use that arm for a day or so to allow it to "take"properly.
So now that's both wrists and both shoulders done.

I think I've fathomed out how to use the new Sky box; it's the first time we've had one with an integral hard drive, we've always taped programmes onto VHS tape before. But it looks like I've successfully downloaded the three programmes Mr LW missed when the old box died, plus the one from last night that he wants to see.:o

Did I mention, I finally got that waistcoat finished, that I bought the wool for in 2007?:D And I've now started on a cardigan, in brown & white cotton yarn, which seems to be going quite well. I can still only do 4 to 6 rows at a sitting, but it's an improvement on how it was.:o

ETA: Happy anniversary Mr & Mrs lynnejk and a belated Hoppy Birdday to the Pigpen Teen
