Elastic looking after 'you' is vital, hence why I made time for YinYoga this morning.

Two bedrooms and the hallway tidied and dusted. I'll do the other two tomorrow.

Time for a cuppa now and to bake a cake then I will eat that frog and read those minutes!

Elastic- I'm very jealous of your day! That sounds bliss.

Sorry LW only just reread your post, I'd missed the bit about your injection in your shoulder I do hope that once you've allowed it to St and take you will have much better use in it and that it's not too painful at the moment.

Lounge s&sed, looks much better, I'm happier with the new layout. Just a bit more decluttering to do.

Sewing bee tonight, I have some little knitted bits I can sew together while I'm watching that.
Boys are going out tonight so they've had early tea just going to wash their lots then peep our meal.

worn out today after another nuts day at work - still should be grateful I suppose - only ran half an hour over my paid time, so I still picked the kids up on time :/

minimal flying yesterday, but the bedroom is in reasonably good order having been Kondo'ed recently. I have a day tomorrow of waiting for a blinds measuring person, so I can put lots of washing away and get bit more done. I'm not going to attempt anything tonight beyond putting children in bed and making tea :D

Iona - I keep a very minimal firstaid kit - most emergencies you can deal with with before you get help with a stack of clean tea towels, cling film for large burns before you get them looked at, and a good pair of eyebrow tweezers for removing foreign bodies. If something needs dressing with more than a plaster, generally it needs looking at by a professional, and even if not, its usually much better to buy exactly what you need for the size and shape of the body part. The only thing I do keep to hand is steristrips - those little sticky "stitches" that bring the edges of cuts together - they've been very handy on occasion, take up very little space and have years on the date. ;) Having been a first aider for school events, most of the contents in the "official" first aid boxes are fairly useless for most problems :p

Hi all, up at 5am this morning to take Mum to hospital, she is sorted now and home so all is well. Mum gave me some money as a thank you and insisted that I used it to buy something exclusively for me so I went and bought one of those Babyliss Big Hair stylers. Hoping it lives up to the reviews and transforms me into a supermodel - well I can hope!

Feet up now. Back at work tomorrow, roll on the weekend.

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better today Bossy. I hope tomorrow is straightforward. Soz about the tooth stuff.

That sounded like a perfect day, Elastic, but then you went and did proper Flying.

    Waistcoat piccie please LW.

I have dusted. I hate dusting. I can't find the fevver dusters which made it 10 times worserer. The last load of dog blankets have been through the WM and the shower room is sparkled.

The dog I thought I should try to help is a cat-chaser, so not the one for us and I don't have to feel guilty about not fostering her. Good.
    Better is good enough.

HB, the right dog will come along for you I'm sure.

Haven't read back further than this page so I hope everyone is ok.

Did some more ironing before the paid stuff but that was it for me today (apart from dailies of course) except that we had takeaway and I haven't washed up the plates yet, might leave them till the morning.
Spend less now, work less later.
