Yes sorry I wasn't clear at all, I know our canteen just has limpy looking salads and jacket potatoes for meat free meals!
Had leftover stew & mash yesterday which heated up nicely. Sandwiches and crisps today.

Hello All, updated to here
Welcome to cat4772, Hadalbm and bestfootforward great to have you on board
Scotmum, thats brilliant news, i am so pleased for you all
Re the vegan eating- i am a firm believer in eating whatever works for you and your family. My 2 boys would rather chop of their limbs than give up meat and dairy! As much as eating a vegan diet is MY choice, so eating meat is theirs. It's all good Although, saying that, they have been eating a lot less meat, as i haven't really bought much, just some meatballs that were on offer. They can slowly eat their way through the meat in the freezer though.
So,, my lunch today is leftover vegan burgers (AMAZING!!), with salad, avocado, hummus, walnuts and a few tortillas
I have started Instagramming my food photos and its amazing how much better they look, LOL!0 -
scotsmum - that's fab news - you must be so relieved.
WTBS your lunch sounds yummy. My diet is mainly pescetarian, with the odd bit of chicken - no red meat.
I'm on #8/22 - baked egg muffins with lots of veggies yesterday, the pasta pesto thing again today.MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -

Thanks everyone for being so wonderful. Dh and I are so pleased with the news Today was HM tomato soup which was really nice Dh is meeting me for lunch tomorrow so I will lose that day but it's a wee celebration of the good news
I also have 2 guys at home that set up such a fuss if they don't get meat for dinner and a daughter like me a veggie. I have no qualms making meat for the guys, I gave up a long time ago trying to convert them. I wish they would eat less as it would save money and time but I have as much chance of winning the lotteryDebt free as of 29.10.2020 🎉😁
