I got same problem told me it was royal mail problems (special delivery with tracking number) but i suspect they have'nt sent it.If royal mail received the item it would imediately be on their system with the tracking number.0

I spoke with them yesterday and got a sharpish response as to where my phone was. I said that I had received an email giving my tracking number and stating it says that I would get my item the next working day. Was told that it tracking number only and not that the item is on its way. Oh. And it clearly states next to each phone that delivery is 5-7days after order....0

Having had 2 people promise me (again) it would arrive today, I have checked the tracking number provided with Royal Mail and surprise, surprise, RM still haven't got the item. Fed up with the !!!!!!!! and lies so have opened a dispute via paypal and have decided to order from an ebay company instead.
Thanks a lot for the tip Martin Lewis!0 -
I've now managed to receive a refund for one order and have received my phone on my other order. However it came with old software on and when trying to update had a raft of USB communicating issues, now its stuck in a terminal reset loop. Very unhappy. Have emailed asking for refund and to return the phone, doubt I'll get a reply until Tuesday though. Less learned, just going to pay the extra and get a new one from Apple!0

I also purchased an refurbished phone from Hot Bargain Phones, IPhone 6 plus, I've had a very similar experience.
Paid via paypal they HBP took the money no order acknowledgement, sent them e-mail after e-mail all replied to with various excuses. Then sent got an e-mail which is supposed to be from royle mail with a tracking number. Guess what the tracking number won't track. Sent another e-mail telling HBP they were in breach of distance selling reg as I had never received an order acknowledgement, this was replied to next day with an order number and same tracking number that came from royle mail. However it still won't track.
The most annoying thing...... I got into this whole situation because of a recommendation from MSE in my opinion MSE bear some responsibility. MSE are supposed to help expose dodgy companies not recommend them in their weekly news letter.0 -
Update on my 128GB iPhone 6 that was ordered on Wednesday.
After calling and having a right ol moan about email giving me tracking number and saying that I would receive next working day and not actually getting it.
Anyway. Long story short. They sent my phone to me by special delivery in Friday and it is now sitting in Royal Mails Chelmsford depot (they won't give to me at the depot because they not tried to deliver it...lol) so have got to wait until Tuesday to get my hands on it.
Fingers crossed it is in good condition and all working. If not it will be winging its way back to the, for a full refund.
Will update you all on Tuesday with everything.
Those of you that are trying to track your delivery..... Just because you have a tracking number does not mean that they have posted the item out.... They gave me the excuse that it stats on the website 5-7 days for delivery. Keep checking it though because it will work eventually. And no it's not an excuse for their !!!! poor customer service, just trying to help those of you that are frustrated by them.0 -
Update from me on IPhone 6 Plus 16GB ordered Thursday 14/5/15
To my astonishment, the postman knocked at the door just after 1pm with a gold iphone 6 plus, the phone is in excellent condition with only one very small mark on the rear of the case. Front screen is perfect no scratches or marks. Fully charged it then reset the phone and re-stored from 5s back up all ran through great.
The overall experience was still not one I would want to repeat but a 6 plus for £460 is a good deal. Customer service is confusing to say the least and they definitely lost my trust. If I'm was to be generous I would say maybe the MSE recommendation overwhelmed them.
Will remove my paypal dispute now... Very surprised and relieved.0 -
UPDATE ON MY ORDER............
Well. It's Tuesday and my phone was delivered to me today. A small package arrived, whoooo. But excitement turned to worry cos the box rattled. Quickly unwrapped the package to find my 128GB iPhone 6 in space Gary wrapped in a small bubble wrap pouch. Being held in the top part of the box. In the bottom part was a charging lead (no plug) and a sim ejector tool. That's it. Personally I think it could of been packaged a bit better to stop thing rattling around.
Anyway. The phone itself. Very good condition overall with no marks on the screen and just the smallest of marks on the rear. It had a sticker on the front screen with 128 (I think) written on it.
The annoying thing is that it's flat as a bloody pancake at present with no charge whatsoever. Have had it plugged in for 15 mins now and still not got enough to turn on.
Hopefully I will be able to get a charge into it and turned on ASAP. If no change in the next hour then they will get a phone all asking to a refund or replacement.
UPDATE.....LOL. No wonder my phone not charging. Have lost power DOH.......0 -
Oh no this is not filling me with confidence... I bought a phone off the back of Martins email 2 weeks ago, got a tracking number which didn't relate to my address at all.
After a lot of back and forth on email it turns out they (or he by the sounds of it!) sent my phone to a completely different address at the other end of the country and blamed me for not putting a delivery address on the order, which is complete rubbish as they could easily have confirmed with me what the address was.
Anyway his reply yesterday was that he was waiting for the guy to reject the phone from the delivery company (?!?!) and then he would send it on to me.
I replied saying this was unacceptable, as it wasn't my fault he sent it to a wrong address and what happens if the guy doesn't reject the phone?? I stated that if he didn't send a tracking number today then I wanted to cancel the order..... waiting for a reply.....
So far I have been doing this on email but I think its time for a phonecall to get this sorted..... :-(
UPDATE:
Just called and got the same confused "Hello?" as everyone else, explained that I wanted to cancel my order given the above and the lady on the phone said she'd call me back once she'd spoken to "Accounts" and "Dispatch"...... I said I was looking forward to her call......0 -
I also ordered a refurb iphone 6 from hot bargain phones after reader post on MSE email. I also used the discount code and paid for the delivery. After 5 days of no confirmation I contacted the company by email only to be told that it could take up to 7 days. However, I was concerned that my details did not appear to be on the company's website. Upon checking my account I saw that £407.98 had gone t hat bargain phones by PAYPAL on the date that I ordered the phone. Subsequent email contact with the company has not resulted in my receiving the phone nor receiving my money back. Does anyone know how to reclaim this via PAYPAL perhaps?0
