Bedding dried outside after being blown around by wind coming straight off the north sea is one of lifes little pleasures :j
This! It smells so nice.
I live in a flat and don't even have any space to dry washing outside (tragically, line-dried washing is the best), but I still get all excited by the first good drying day of the year. I'm not completely mad either, last year when that day came me and a couple of friends were on FB going "I've washed the sheets and all the towels!" "I'm on my third load of the day!"
First Good Drying Day also heralds Spring Cleaning Day isn't far off.0 -
So,there are lots of us who take pleasure in a line of washing, blowing in the wind!

It's good to get the washing on the line but I do use the tumble drier in the winter a lot . We have a pulley in the utility room and I can put things on overnight then tumble to soften when they're nearly dry . It's handy . I like to swap fabric conditioners often and I'm that woman sniffing them in the supermarket ! It's the rock and roll lifestyle for us !0

Yup, that'd be me too
I won a competition recently and the prize was some laundry products, I was seriously more excited than if I'd won a car lol. 0 -
Me too! I get a great sense of satisfaction from pegging out a line of washing.
Put a load out on Saturday and one today and it just smelled so nice when it was dry! No room for a tumble dryer so have to dry on an airer next to the dehumidifier indoors.
I have never hung washing outside if I don't think it will actually dry though.0 -
I don't have a dryer so love hanging my washing on the line when I can. Even if it doesn't dry properly outside, it's nice and fresh and then easy to finish the drying inside.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free
