Washing

I've had a couple of loads drying outside. I have to be careful as I live close to woodland and they are often burning wood so any washing hanging on line has to be monitored for woodsmoke smell.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

I haven't put washing out since September I think. I work too far away to risk putting it out. It would be either frozen solid, resoaked or horribly damp. God bless my tumble drier!0

I put some washing out today too. It's the first time I've done so in our new house so I spent most of the day trying to find the most sunny/least windy places, and running outside to catch the airer as it tipped over. I need to work on this and get my rotary line up.0

I admit, I get excited about hanging out washing - but unless I am pretty sure it is going to be completely dry by tea time, I won't peg out - or i will still have damp washing to find somewhere to hangWith love, POSR

I moved into a flat two years ago - not even a balcony

I really miss getting my washing out - loved the line full of nappies when the children were little. I had two of them in nappies at the same time so there were always loads of them flapping in the breeze.0 -
Yes, another one who loves seeing a line of washing blowing in the wind.
Now that I'm retired I can usually time it so that I catch fine weather and rarely use the dryer.
I have my line in a place that caught the sun even in winter, now OH has put a shed which casts a shadow.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

I was nearly tempted to put my washing out today for the first time since last autumn, but as we are going on holiday on Tuesday, I decided that there was too much to all go on the line and get dry, especially as I want to get it all ironed today. However, as soon as I get back in the middle of this month, I will be waiting for a good drying day. It's like a personal challenge for me to not use the dryer from around now until the clocks go back again. On another point, is anyone else obsessed with washing everything in the house when you are going on holiday?0
