Another right riveting RELATIONSHIP thread I see.
There is a Discussion Time board you know.0 -
I have put my FAMILY'S washing on the line, happy now?
It's pretty clear what the thread is about, just ignore it if you're not interested.0 -

Rain is mucky, it has particles of dirt in the drops, so your washing wouldnt be as clean after rain.0 -

Pegging out the washing was one chore that OH would not do, thinking it was unmanly!
Is that enough about relationships for you?

I don't let other people hang out my washing as I like it done a certain way. If someone offers to help me hang it out I generally point them in the direction of the dishwasher or hoover. My wife made a similar comment about our neighbours, they constantly have their washing hung out, whatever the weather.
The only thing I hung out to dry last year was a duck down jacket, everything else goes in the dryer.0 -
My neighbours comment about my washing too. I find it rather rude and wonder where the heck they dry their washing.

I don't peg out in rain, obviously, but any sun and/ or wind, out it goes. I don't want to use the dryer and waste money.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

I got some bedding dry on the line yesterday, and most of the wet out of the clothes so an overnight inside sorted them out.
We don't have a dryer and some of my heavier things I need in winter take 3 days to dry even on the radiators (on 0-2 times a day for up to an hour) so was pleased!0 -
If its not raining then out goes the washing , when I worked it was quite common to be pegging it out in the dark before work !
I do have a dryer but try not to use it because of cost and i think it ruins clothes .
Even if stuff doesn't dry fully it still smells fresher after being outside.
Bedding dried outside after being blown around by wind coming straight off the north sea is one of lifes little pleasures :j0
