I love putting my washing outside. It always smells lovely and fresh! I get ridiculously excited about it.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

I love putting my washing out too and have a weird obsession with sniffing it! Today I've got a dark and a white load out. This will be my second/third of the year. Always cheers me up seeing them waft about in the breeze

I hope spring hurries up, I'm so fed up of the gloomy cold weather.PAD 2023 Debt total as of Dec 2022 £18,988.63*April £17,711.03

I'm just excited to be able to use my washing machine! It's not been working for two weeks, and I've muddled along by giving washing to my mum (age 81 and on a water meter), my daughter (who has a newborn, and has had her kitchen refitted this week, from the floor tiles up - so no washer for a few days!), and handwashing.
First, my machine needed a new circuit board. It still wouldn't work, so it was tested for a new motor (not needed). It turned out to need the 'harness' of wires between the circuit board and motor. Between the three visits from the engineer, and waiting for the parts to come from abroad, it has taken a little while. Last night, about 7.30pm, my washing machine was able to wash a full load! Wayhay!
Today I'm washing my granddaughter's clothes, as my daughter's machine won't be connected until tomorrow. It's great seeing ll those little babygrows and vests on the line, not to mention tiny pairs of leggings, Tshirts and cardigans.
My dryer will (hopefully!) now be redundant until the winter weather returns later in the year.0 -
I have been lucky enough to be able to put washing out all through the winter this year, I do much prefer it. Our neighbours on one side never put their washing out. It takes all sorts.0

I've been seriously lazy lately, but this thread has inspired me to not only get the windows open and hang my washing out on the line; I've also shampooed my carpets and washed the dog!
Everything smells lovely now, even if the dog's feeling sorry for himself
