New (man) to Claiming from the CSA

Just to develop, Macaroni
the seventh, is for the number of nights that they have at their mums, but an additional allowance has been made for her kids at home ... still bemused as to why she has only put one forward. I'm kinda thinking it is some kind of stalling tactic to prevent payments being made as she has deliberately made an "error" for that purpose. MMMMM! Suspicious me.
Hi, I know its going back a bit, but i've only just caught up with the thread.
It seems the 1/7 is for the 1 night out of 7 they spend with there mum.
As for the other allowance for the kid(s) at home, only the younger one would be counted as a kid as the one in Uni is an adult in the eyes of the CSA.0 -
Hi N17
Thanks for that ... I always assumed that both of her children would have qualified, but as you state, and others earlier, it is apparent now.
The younger is at college, and I was suprised to learn that was in attendance, as had shown no intention before ... no doubt mother has made sure of it.
Thanks again for clearing that up.:wave:0 -
enemes.
many people have criticised me at home for asking the csa to get money from my son's mother - the NRP.
Thanks for that ... I can't understand why you were subject to criticism. I have had no qualms about claim CSA of my childrens' mother. If it had been the other way round, she would have dried me clean through.
There is a principle at stake, no matter what sex the PWC is ... the claim is for the children, the real victims.:wave:0 -

yes agree with you. I could not understand why i was criticised for asking for CM but that life!
stick to your guns and keep hassling the csa,
best of luck:T0 -
Elle Macpherson may not get out of her bed for £5000 a day, but I do, just to hassle the CSA. Its pricelss!Information is not knowledge.

Isn't the CSA damaged enough? ... that's why it is re-inventing itself, with some other daft name!:wave:0 -
Ok ... so far, an assessment has been made on my ex. She was to pay something last month, but she managed to convince my Complaints Resolution Officer that having changed job (again) she wouldn't be getting paid in December, and has to work the six weeks before she got paid. Fair enough, I thought, I can accept that it is possible.
However, i recieved a letter form my CRO on Saturday morning, stated that he had received nothing from her yet, and was giving her 7 days to make a payment, and failing that he would " contact Mrs X's employer to instigate a Deductions from Earnings Order".
MY QUESTION IS ...
Am I entitled to request that the payments come from her employer right away ( in the form of a DEO), or do I have to wait for her to default a number of times before I can request it?
Thanking you in advance ...:wave:0 -
They should be getting a DEO on as quickly as possible if a default has been made - it depends on who you get working on your case whether this happens. some are really hot, and some (all of my caseworkers unfortunatley) keep feeling sorry for the NRP and believing all the lies that spout out of their mouths (for those that do that is, not all of them!!!!! lol) My ex is a pathalogical liar and managed to convince the CSA that black was white, hence it took over 7 years to get anywhere - they clearly didn't learn from the non-materialisation of any of his forms or payments which were constantly promised!!!!!0

hello, I would agree with kellogs36,but in truth once pmnt has been missed and no response to the warning of deo, then enforcement from earnings should be issued without any further discussion,0
