No, you just happen to fit the modus operandi of a scammer and u fortunately that is all PayPal will see. They don't care whether or not you are a genuinely unlucky buyer, all they see is someone who has triggered their fraud alert and to protect themselves they will close you down.

Incidentally why are you waiting until next week to phone Barclays, is there a significance in the time frame ? I would have thought doing it sooner rather than later would be beneficial.

I had to reset my Pin number on Monday and needed to adjust one of security questions too. This was all before my Paypal account became limited. Its going to take another 1-3 days for the letter to come by post. Then, I can lodge a charge back request against Paypal on the phone with Barclay's.

Also Barclay advises me to wait 14 days for delivery before a charge back request. For the second transaction, 10 days have past.

If you do actually succeed and recover your money via a Chargeback, Paypal will write you lots of letters and send debt collectors after you.
Of course it goes without saying that you won't be able to use ebay or Paypal ever again.

    .

NO ...incorrect...paypal does not hound people with debt collectors after chargeback.

I agree, they tend to just close the paypal account as a chargeback is a legitimate way to reclaim money.
