That wouldn't be the defunked NEB Wishlist would it, the one pre Huzar ? It's about time the CAA withdrew that list, it's been disgraced in the Allen case, it has no value whatsoever..
    defunct?
I didn't know the CAA involved Chic or Nile Rogers in composing the list? :D

I was actually thinking in my head of 'uck' spelling, but I'm glad the 'n' made an appearance...;)

So, Flybe finally get back to me and admit that I am entitled to compensation but can't quite bring themselves to offer cash (as I am entitled to) and instead offer a voucher. Now the voucher is worth more than the cash payment of €250 but that's not the point. I had prevoiusly told them I'm not interested in vouchers and wanted a cash payment but I suppose they can't quite bring themselves to fuy comply with EU261/ 2004.....

EMAIL FROM FLYBE TODAY: We are writing as promised following our final review of your claim.

Following our investigations we can confirm that you are entitled to compensation in accordance with EU 261/2004 following the disruption experienced. As a result Flybe would be pleased to offer you a voucher to the value of £300.00 / 350.00Euros (per person) for redemption against a future Flybe flight.

The voucher may be claimed and utilised via our dedicated team within the next 18 months from today’s date. Your journey must also have flown within this period. Our Vouchers Team may be contacted via email (vouchers@flybe.com) Monday to Friday. Bookings made via our Vouchers Team will be subject to our online rates found via Flybe.com

By accepting this offer with our Vouchers Team your claim is settled in full and final settlement of all claims, demands, actions and proceedings arising out of the flight described within your letter of claim.

Thank you for your patience whilst we have reviewed your claim and we hope to have another early opportunity to welcome you on board our services again soon.

    Kind regards

    Flybe

Actually Novice Angel, strictly speaking it wasn't a duplicate post. Whilst the directly lifted quote from my email from Flybe was duplicated in another forum topic, the remainder of the post is not a direct duplication but thanks for pointing it out.

Really, thanks for that, it could actually be a blessing, because when they lose and they will, the decision will become more and more persuasive on other Courts, they are making the same mistake that Jet2 made with Huzar.

    Cheers,
