99% of it has been me doing *ALL* of the work .. arranging stuff, getting in touch, giving gifts, being thoughtful, being spontaneous, dropping everything to be there, etc... when I am treated pretty badly by this person x

You could be writing about me here.
This is me all over.

Makes perfect sense and I can relate to that in many ways.
It is hard to change such historic habits that are so deeply rooted but slowly try and remember that you need looking after too and putting first sometimes and it is OK to recognise that, because taking care of you will put you in a stronger position to take care of others too, but not at the expense of your self esteem or self respect........
... it may be that is something you can work on now you have some alone time at the house and can be better at giving more of yourself to you.. I know exactly what you mean though, I do all I can to please everyone else and try to minimise peoples problems and in turn, if I can't, I blame myself for everyones problems whether they are anything to do with me or not!
Just remember also its a fine line between being accommodating and caring and being a doormat and nobody respects a door mat.. x love ya x- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

It sounds sound like our ways overlap a lot.
At least we can sleep at night knowing we have good hearts, that is something I always think and try to install in LL too, ya know, treat people how you would like to be treated is such a rule of life to live by.. but don't let people abuse that goodness and if you detect they are doing so, go cool and teach them a little lesson. x- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

Sending hugs all round to you lovely, caring, giving, generous souls. xxx Please don't change, as the world would be a much poorer place if you did; but please try to make yourselves happy first.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

So, I've been paid today and it's £120 less than normal. Phoned payroll who have said two days of unpaid leave have been taken out of my salary from February, instead of 1 I actually took. They were supposed to take this out in March too, not May, but that's another story. I won't be getting the money back until at least next month.
They've traced it back, and it is down to my manager not sending the correct timesheets over, so I've sent him an email highlighting the fact that I'm now on my own (which he knows) and I can't afford for this to happen. I'm pretty annoyed, that is basically almost my petrol budget for the month.
DS will be at his Dad's tonight too, we'd already changed it once, so I didn't want to mess him around again. I made him a magnetic calendar for each house with moveable pieces so he knows what day it is, whether it's a school day or not and which house he's sleeping in, he's already done it for this week, so I don't want to be changing it to suit me. Instead I'm going to take him out for some dinner after school with his Dad.
Feeling pretty despondent, close to tears and like giving up today if I'm being honest. I know it will get sorted eventually and it's no big thing, but it's the final straw this week.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £50,378.61

Manager's replied by forwarding the email to someone else, cc-ing me in with 'can you look at this' - no word to me - typical for this place.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £50,378.61
