Thank you for the lovely message too Levi, which was so thoughtful, it made me cry buckets! I was suitably cheered up by the time I went to bed.

You are more than welcome my sweet - our little chat cheered me up too so thankYOU. I know exactly how it felt, I have siblings that never contact me and a mother I'm afraid of bothering and a person I'm a bit in love with who doesn't feel the same and I allow to treat me poorly, never texts me first, etc.
I'm always at the other end if you need anything. xx

All I can think about now is this!
( I think I watched too much FRIENDS, everything ever reminds me of something on Friends!)

    ^^^^^!!!!!!??? I must've missed that episode!!!

    Well, a mixed bag tonight...

Ds still on a high from sports day this evening when I picked him up. He is at his dad's tonight, but I was there when he went to bed so was able to give him cuddles. I told him to calm it down as it's bed time now - he replied saying he's love to, but he's just too 'cited'! Oh that boy makes my heart swell with love. ❤️

The ex cooked dinner, I took the ingredients over, and we chatted about O and school etc. and gave him advice on the date he has this weekend! Ie.get a haircut!!!

I went grocery shopping to Asda earlier, is it me or have they're prices skyrocketed lately?! They were even more expensive than tesco.
I did, however, but 4 big, healthy herb plants for £2 each which I have planted tonight.
I also picked up some sunflower seeds for O to plant this weekend (inspired by you and Ll Levi ) and a couple of kid's plant lots that were reduced, for O to plant them in which we'll do tomorrow night.

Then Him has managed to pee me off again tonight - I arranged for O to stay at his dad's until Monday now, as Him doesn't have his daughter this weekend so we were going to take a bit of quality time together. Originally O was with me Friday night, but Him said he was planning to leave work early, getting home for 4.30pm, so I said I'd swap O's days so we can have a long weekend together. Tonight he tells me he's now told his boss he'll be in all day tomorrow, so he won't be getting back until very late at night. I was not amused, and am not missing out on time with my son because of it, so O will be with me tomorrow night now and I'll probably see Him sometime Saturday afternoon.

The final kick in the teeth was when Him said, disappointedly, he was 'actually looking forward to this weekend as well', in the context that it was now going to be not so good - I should add that he was counting on there being a train strike on Monday, so was thinking he would be having an extended weekend off. He was less than amused when I said it had been cancelled.
I'm afraid I took offence and asked if all the other previous weekends he would've rather stayed at work then?!
I look forward to every weekend just to see him, in fact, as I told him, I'm living for the weekends at the moment, so that really hurt.

Perhaps I took it the wrong way, but I am getting to the point where I can't live like this anymore, it's tearing me up, yet it seems to be rather one-sided.
I don't know how this weekend will turn out now, This is not making me happy presently.

So, after that, I sat in a steaming hot bath with radox 'wind down' bubbles... I put ALOT in... And then have taken myself off to bed.

    Men. Grrrrrrr.

(Present company excluded from that Levi).

    Goodnight all

That episode was when Ross (in a misunderstanding involving a hot girl) agreed to massage one of Phoebe's clients but instead of it being the hot girl it turned out to be for her elderly father but Ross still had to go through with it and just did it by poking him with spoons, a mop and using toy cars on his back :rotfl: Gotta love FRIENDS, thank god I have season 1-10 boxset, I think it is my most prized possession! :D

The Mister bloke sounds like he needs a bit of a smack. Would you like me to deliver it? I am very macho.
Let him come running to you - play it cool - and make other plans with #1 man O :)

PS: SUNFLOWERS :j:j:j:j Keep me posted with how yours go! I'm jealous, if we had a whole garden I don't think I'd ever get LL in, he would want to be gardening constantly!:D

Ahhhh, so I've just realised where a product I have seen on Etsy comes from then... It's a t-shirt for daddy's with a race track on it, with a toy car so that the kids can 'drive' the car round the track and give daddy a massage!

I haven't watched any friends for years tbh, thinks I should get a box set, a duvet and snacks and spend my weekend on the sofa :)

And yes, would you be so kind please? 😁
Y'know what, I'm not trying to big myself up, but I'm not demanding, I'm not high maintenance, far from it, I'm very loving and (waaaaay too) generous, loyal and honest and give my all when I'm in a relationship with someone. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. :(
He knows he upset me and he didn't do it on purpose, but it would just be nice to be someone's number 1(or two, after his little one of course). I guess I'm not that worthy of rushing home to :/

    I give up.
Like you said, I'm now looking forward to sunflower planting with my number 1 man. :)

I'm hoping to get O more I to planting this year too. Have you thought of planting potatoes? They were 99p for seed potatoes in home bargains and they can be grown in just about any tub/bucket/bag. Would FGN let you have a bucket or tub to grow them in at hers? I still get excited digging for them and they taste divine!

We might branch out in to potatoes, peas and tomatoes next year.. ooh and strawberries :)

That t-shirt sounds excellent heh heh.

I think sometimes the nice ones get kicked down the most. I have been known to say almost the exact things you just did about myself being kind, thoughtful, generous, trying hard.. etc... and being treated like crap...then someone pointed out to me that may be the problem itself right there....
.. from that I've tried hard to make myself less available and make them work more for the good stuff.. it sounds harsh but it is a self-protection thing and it is something that you have to do to remind people of your worth sometimes, I think - if any of that made sense. Without saying too much, I have one person in my life that I am a bit silly about.. it's been very on and off (mainly off) but 99% of it has been me doing *ALL* of the work .. arranging stuff, getting in touch, giving gifts, being thoughtful, being spontaneous, dropping everything to be there, etc... when I am treated pretty badly by this person nearly all of the time. People repeatedly tell me it is toxic and to forget it and I'm sure it has caused my 'issues' to worsen - but I have a slight addiction to this person and I think it may even be woven in to my desire to 'hurt myself' because I allow this shabby treatment and go back for more.
Whoops far too much waffle there but I guess in summary it's just to say you can decide how people treat you and whatever you accept is what you will get more of so show him the line and don't let him cross it. You are way too valuable :) x

Great advice Hun and I think you have probably hit the nail on the head. I always do too much for everyone else - I was guilty of it with the ex too - I still am! I mean, what ex wife puts all the furniture together for her ex husband's new house, sorts his house insurance, hands him the keys to a £15k car she worked her !!! off for and paid for in cash...

    But, it's what I do.

    I look after people.

I do whatever I can to make them happy. It all stems from being a little girl growing up with a seriously ill Mummy - even at 4, I remember trying to do whatever I could to make people happy and take the sadness away. Then I spent the rest of my life, until I moved away, looking after everybody, trying to make them happy, then trying to cope with the guilt for having moved away and not being able to look after my parents.

Unfortunately it's meant that I haven't grown up to be very happy, but other people always come first in my book.

Enough waffling from me! Don't let this person treat you badly Levi, there's one heck of an army here that will take her down if she does!
