Don't tell your Dad! Do it... do it... do it....
I'm a bit of a speed demon (controlled of course) so I love the bike. Not your typical biker chick I guess, and it does surprise some people, but just love the thrill and the freedom of it. I don't have my own, but frequently borrow a friend's in the summer, so all the fun without the expense.
Have also done a bit of rallying too, which is great fun!
The suit fitted. just.I forgot how uncomfy they are though - being tall (I'm 5'10") its fine when you're sitting low on the bike, but cut in half when you stand up lol!
So, have been a busy bee since getting back tonight. O is in bed, he was kinder to Mummy tonight thankfully.
My online grocery order was delivered and came in at around £46, should be quite a bit cheaper next week as had run out of quite a lot of toiletries etc this week.
I've prepped a slow cooker meal for tomorrow and wlll bung that on to cook tomorrow morning, hopefully my house will be smelling braised-lamb-like by the time I get home tomorrow evening.
Hair has been dyed (not ginger, before you ask Levi!). 'Chocolate' is the shade.... not a hint of chocolate orange to it either!
I've washed and dried a load of washing and tackled laundry mountain that was starting to take over the airing cupboard. Sorted out some more of the ex's clothes, so gave him a ring to come and pick some more bits up. He ambled round and took lots of stuff he'd bought from the freezer that I won't use too, so leaving me with more space.
Lunchboxes are made for tomorrow, YNAB has been updated and I'm off to bed.
Goodnight all

Thank you Levi. :heart2:
Ooh, how exciting! Let us know when he/she arrivesWill be honoured to share a birthday with the newbie, as well as Keira Knightley and Diana Ross don't you know...
Well, I've been treated to two bouts of tears by my son for my birthday this morning - one because we only had time to read one book in bed this morning (same as every other morning!) and the second because he wasn't allowed to eat cake for breakfast.... boy. loves. cake.
He also got upset because Mummy didn't have parcels to unwrap this morning. Sure as heck not going to tell him it's my birthday next year, may have an easier morning!
There is muchos cake in the studio today - pull up a chair, make yourself a cuppa, help yourselves to cake.

Ah your lil Ozzy man is a cake monster! Don't worry about the tears - small crimes, forgiven and forgotten by now - LL cried the other day because he thought his t shirt "smelled of toast" - the important things in the 4 yr old world that will induce tears .;)
I know you don't want to celebrate so enough of the bd talk but I hope your day is super and those are some class acts to share the day with so hopefully the new N/N will join the party later! Due tomorrow so pretty accurate really, punctuality runs in the famx

HAPPPPPPYYYYY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUUUU, you live in a zoo. You look like a Monkeyyyy... ANDDDD you smell like one tooo!!
:beer:Happy birthday hun. I've had many a one with no presents. Or the slightly more depressing one with a present from myself to myselfcomes of being surrounded by uselessness and not really caring much for the day anyway.
Hope it gets better.. I spent from 4am awake continually putting Jellytot back in bed because 'my covers a mess on floor mummy! - She kept launching them. Even when I tucked them in. She came so close to having the superglued on. Seriously!
Have a lovely day hun. Am settling in for cake fest.
And as for the bike... 2 friends died the year my dad banned me. One just 18, the other 22. Then my best friends little brother had a low speed accident in the rain at 30mph and paralysed himself from the armpits down. So my dad genuinely would break my legs, much as I loved it.
I hope you had nice *safe* fungreat weather for it last night.
Lots of love xxx

Thank you lovely Lilty :grinheart <<< ooh, a new pink smiley person.
I like.
The no gifts doesn't bother me one iota to be honest - family will no doubt spoil me when I go 'home' this weekend, but there's nothing I need or want. My boy is present enough.
The ex did buy me a gift and THE cake, and decorated his front door for when I took O round there this morning. He's just emailed me to say he had to put a slice of the cake in O's lunchbox as a white flag to stop the tears - Pushover!
Sorry you had a crappy night too Lilty. I didn't sleep well again - my bed looked like I'd wrestled with a lion when I got up this morning (I hadn't), all crumpled and sheets and duvet all over the place.
I heard Ds's 'sleep sheep' from about 5.30am until I got up too so I know he was away early as well.
Ooh, not good about the bikes Lilty, I can see why your Dad is cautious. My parents don't know I ride bikes and they never will if I have anything to do with it!:o:T
I have to hide my bike gear everytime they come up - which hasn't been for over 18 months now due to my Mum's health and our weird living arrangements whilst the ex was still there, but they are hoping to come up soon. There's currently a lovely Kawasaki in my garage I need to disguise lol!
