Hello you
I am sorry I wasn't here last night. I am sure it felt just as weird and not quite cool for the boys as it did for you at home. My cuz took a long time to get used to the fact that her 'boys' were gone. One boy being her ex. Even now 6+ years on from divorce, they are the best of friends. They do everything together for Cal, as one big happy family. Mum, Dad, Stepmom, Stepdad, half brother, half sister. He has the best of every world and literally splits himself 3/4 days per week at each even now. And he is the loveliest little fella. Kind, caring...
I hope you managed a decent nights sleep... Sending you huge bundles of love. This will get better. xxx

Good morning! Barbie in Princess Power on here (again...) where she gets kissed by a magic butterfly and becomes able to fly and turns into a superhero (a la clark kent, disguised by a mask) but is also a princess and her cousin also is a superhero and they have to overcome rivalry. A nice, simple story...
Thought I'd pop in and say 'hi' back at you xxNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Thanks for your posts you lovely lot, sorry I was not around much, wasn't really feeling very positive and didn't have much except 'blah's' to say, so kept myself to myself.
Lilty, I really hope, in time that my life can be traveling on the same path as your cousin's. That's what we're all hoping for, it sounds pretty perfect.
Well, the weekend was good and bad in equal measures. We got the cake... after much deliberation (and a bit of coaxing) Ds chose a chocolate caterpillar cake, which went down very well - the remainder of which I've realised I've been done out of as it's been left at 'Daddy's house' - good for the diet I suppose though.
The cake shopping trip turned into a bit of a nightmare though as Ds decided he would try and cling on to every display and shelf whilst sitting in the trolley going round Mr A's. Cue tins everywhere and a very stressed Mummy and miserable O by the end of it.
He wanted to got to Daddy's for a sleepover the first night his Dad moved, so O was there all weekend pretty much. I wasn't alone, (the previously unmentioned HIMcame over), who has been in a similar situation, so he was a great support and shoulder to cry on the first night Oscar was away. HIM also fixed my downstairs sink for me and changed the oil & filter in my car - unfortunately, during which time the car decided to dump 2 litres of oil all over my drive, so we spent ages trying to get that off as best we could.
Oscar came over yesterday afternoon and we played ninja turtles legoand did his homework (early - get me - gold star for mummy please!:D), and then he went back to his Dad's again. He's with me for the next 3 nights now and I'm sooo looking forward to it. If anything, it does make you value the time together so much more.
On the budget front, I did end up transferring money from one of the other accounts at the weekend as I needed to buy oil and a takeaway, but not going to beat myself up about it. It's been a tough weekend and I had the money in the bank, it's not like it was credit.
Payday is Wednesday :j and so I'm priming my YNAB to kick in from then. Is it sad I'm[STRIKE] a bit[/STRIKE] a lot excited???:rotfl:Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £50,378.61

Ooh, forgot to mention, both the ex and I have received notification that our £100 pre-paid mastercard is on the way after I referred him for Sky.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £50,378.61

Just as a quick note to myself more than anything, there's some stuff I need to do tonight:
• List items on gumtree
• Make soup
• Find MPR numbers to initiate energy switch (again:mad:).
• Sort & tidy wardrobes after 'the move'.
• setup online banking for new BT CC's.
• Reply to party invite for Ds (keep forgetting).
• Sort issue with adding bank account to paypal - can't currently withdraw money from my business account. :mad:Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £50,378.61

:j £100 mastercard from Sky each.. VERY cool :money: And even better.. daddy is getting Sky too..even more sameness for him over there = an even happier little O =
Have fun spending that - treat yourself (or is that going too far
) :money:
Now you have got the first weekend out the way and the logistical side of your ex moving out.. I'd say you've got the worst over with and everything will very quickly shape up with the new regime and you'll probably find very rapidly that you stop 'missing' the nights with O and just fill them with other things - not in a harsh way at all - it will just become the way of life for all of you and I'm sure it will it will work out swimmingly. I hope you're feeling better about stuff a little getting that weekend behind you. (PS: Another good call on the cake from connoisseur Oscar):)
Anyways hope you're slaying the to-do list as we speak! have a good evening:)xx- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

:)Well, 'slayed' is such a big word...:o
I've made soup from lots of veg that would otherwise have had to be thrown if left much longer, with some LENTILS (check me out Lilty!) thrown in for good measure. Eaten a bowl of which tonight and was rather lovely, so will provide my dinner for much of the week, with some leftover to freeze for work lunches.
Yup, the £100 mastercard each was a bit of a bonus Levi. It will make up the difference for the day I had to take unpaid last month, with a bit leftover to cover the extra petrol needed this month as I will be making two trips 'home' this month. We are stuck for childcare options for Ds for four days, so he is going on 'holiday' to Nanny and Grandad's house for nearly a week. I just hope my parents are well enough as they would suffer quietly rather than put me off taking him there and I don't want that. I'm dreading it to be honest, but that's another story.
Back to the list: I've photographed the items for gumtree and will list them tomorrow. I've also found the meter number for the gas, will find the electric one tomorrow too. Party invite is replied too and I've packed the lunchboxes and bags ready for work and school tomorrow. I'm now freshly showered and sat in bed with a cuppa and my laptop.
It's so nice to have my boy back home though.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £50,378.61

Grrr, have just tried and failed to set up online banking for the 3 0% credit cards I have spread the debt across. CC1 I've successfully set it up but then realised I've yet to transfer the balance, and I've cut the card up and thrown it away already so will have to order a new one to get the number.
CC2 - won't let me register as it seems I once had online banking with them for a very old account and can't remember any of the details and CC£ - the security info hasn't arrived in the post yet.
